If you like slate, this china is for you... the three finger bowls are somewhat smaller than I expected. They're around 3" (7.8 cm) in diameter at the top, so don't expect to fit huge amounts of dip or sauces into them. The plate to go with the three bowls is very pretty. It works for me for the occasional finger food moment.

These bowls are beautiful and unique, each one an ornament in its own right. As crockery they set off the look of the table perfectly.

Beautiful quality as expected from this company. I bought other pieces to mix and match this with and I always get comments when I serve friends on them. A warning if this kind of thing bothers you. It is a matte finish, so if you have a problem with the sound or feel of cutlery "grating" on the surface, you will not like this style. I have a couple of friends who are bothered by this and I always put out my glazed plates and bowls for them.
