Gideon of Scotland Yard, also known as Gideon's Day, is a classic police procedural of the subgenre revolving around one day in the life of the police officer. It has everything you could expect from from such a movie from England in the 1950s. No "Dirty Harry" or "Die Hard" here, just a cop in a suit doing his job.The lost star is in the Blu-Ray. The film is not particularly sharper than you could get from a good DVD, and it lacks subtitles or any sort of extras.

This John Ford production portrays a day in the life of Chief Inspector George Gideon as he and his Scotland Yard's "Flying Squad" detectives track down criminals in 1957 London. Pleasing entertainment.
