Learn to understand the Chakras and their psychological implications!
For anyone that wants a better understanding of the Chakras and their psychological implications I would highly suggest this book! I use what I've learned from this book everyday. Dario Nardi does an excellent job of laying out complex material in a simple to understand way. The only warning I have about this book is that it doesn't have many yoga practices in it however the practices it does have are explained in such a way that with the information on the Chakras I could improvise off them and come up with my own practices

Interesting approach... didn't "speak" to me
I love all things Carl Jung. I think if I were born in his time I would have been his student... I also love all things yoga. Plenty of books on chakras and as my preference is Sivananda, I stay clear of contemporary chakra books and instructors. This author seems to hold to the traditional interpretation of chakra, so I appreciated this. I guess I knew this would be a book about chakras but the title is a tad misleading... no discussion of yoga, only chakras. The first half itemized each chakra for laying the baseline. I actually appreciated the method, but for the constant focus on drawings... as we have varying functional stacks, I wonder if this is intentional to appeal to the various perceiving functions? But while I can suppose this is to reach all personalities, I found it annoying and because I must "know" everything, I read it all - and I wish I could have just skipped them no benefit for me, like a functional-foreign-language. I cannot grasp its value at all. Much of the book feels this way to me. I have some exposure, though very little understanding of Kundalini Yoga, so nothing new here. What I did enjoy where the activities or assignments of a sort. These I may use in journaling. Eh... I may not...I do not agree with much of chakra beliefs, but I guess function exists and perhaps chakras influence our mind or our mind manifests in chakras? All in all, I thought it flowed just ok. I noticed many type errors. I felt it elevated me none at all. I don't feel I gained any new insight from the perspective of Jung. I think the author has a practice in kundalini and he believes he must share to the world. Do I recommend? No, not particularly. I am relatively neutral. I give this book 3 stars. Not a waste of my time, but not a valuable experience either.

Mind expanding
This book gives one a positive attitude to life and your future. Combining Jung, kundalini yoga, chakras and altered states of consciousness, one becomes aware of the positive possibilities that exist for your future. It is very concise and worthwhile read. Probably worth reading a second time.

An exciting confluence of Eastern and Western thought
At first glance, I was extremely skeptical of this book's premise of exploring Jungian psychology through spiritual practice. However, Nardi does an excellent job of presenting the concepts of Yoga mapped to Jung's concepts in an approachable and understandable way. He also pays particular attention to correcting Jung's own misconceptions of yoga and related interpretations of the chakras.Any excellent guide on the philosophy of yoga would be remiss in neglecting to cover the actual practice, but Nardi delivers a series of exercises for mind and body that can be attempted by novices of all ages. Through these practices, the reader gains a depth of understanding of the material that a cursory reading along won't reveal.Highly recommended for any students of Jung, Yoga, psychology, or Eastern thinking in general.

A fine resource for new yoga practitioners but not for students of Jungian theories
After great anticipation on the topic, I found it a bit thin on Jung’s thoughts on kundalini yoga. I am going to source Jung’s original lectures on the topic which this book was supposed to serve as an abridged version. Regardless, it’s a interesting read for a beginner of KY or Jungian theory, with some creative takes on the chakras.

Good Balance of Personality Psychology w/ Yoga (not physical yoga)
Jung on Yoga shows a flexible variety of thoughts from different angles combining psychological and practical spiritual advice. There are sections where chakras and cognitive functions are covered, that go into depth, while not stacked into long droning list template that consume the whole book (only about 1/3). Overall found it an enjoyable informative read and especially appreciated the thought put into illustrations and charts.

not at all what I expected
waste of money. I thought it was going to be Jung's lectures on the subject, but it was only someone's opinion on what Jung may have thought. Not worth the money
