Love it!!

I love this Pop! As I opened the package, and turned it around, the first thing I noticed was the blue skin. Then the chase sticker. I was excited that I got the chase, but that's not what I am writing this review about. Okay, for starters, looks nice, minor box scratches (but I don't care), no actual box damage, and I like it. This Pop! really looks like the character from the movie, and has lots of detail. Since I got the chase, I won't be taking it out of the box, but I will say from looking at it, everything looks fine. One thing off though, is that the chase sticker is placed on top of the word "redrum" at the bottom of the plastic, which, I've seen chases, so I know they are supposed to be there, but it covered up a word used in probably one of the best movie scenes in the whole film. Other than that, great Pop!. Now, from here (about five or six feet away), this Pop! looks really menacing, like to the point where my Stranger Things Demogorgon Pop! doesn't compare to how menacing this Jack Torrance looks. So, if you want to have a scary, or creepy Pop!, for a Halloween decoration, this one, you need to get! Overall great looking, but still giving five stars (although those plastic scratches make it look a bit used) because my bad luck day just changed suddenly when a Chase Pop! arrived in the mail. Maybe I got the Chase version of this Pop! because there was lots of snow outside, and he froze to death, like in the movie! Hahaha!

I bought this Funko Pop! Jack Torrance figure as a Christmas gift for my brother. He loves The Shining movie so I figured he would like this Funko Pop! I was correct, he loved it. He said it looks good on the shelf next to his other figures. Great purchase.

I was happily surprised when I saw that I got the chase variant. It was what I was wishing for even though I was expecting the regular version. Would have given this 5 stars if not for the box's poor condition. I think many (or most) collectors would never take a chase out of the box so I included an OOB pic below for a better look. Ich mag Jack Nicholson, ich mag The Shining! Die Figur ist außerordentlich gut gelungen. Die blutige Axt, dieser irre Blick, ich fühle mich irgendwie beobachtet ich bekomme Angst....

È stupendo! Non penso si possa aggiungere altro per descrivere questo Funko Pop. Riproduce Jack Torrance pervaso di una malignità estrema che, brandendo l'iconica ascia (nel romanzo è una mazza da croquet), insegue, in lungo e in largo, la povera moglie Wendy e il figlio Danny per... ehm... fargli solo una sorpresina. Benché il finale del film mi ha deluso molto rispetto al romanzo sono comunque rimasto molto affezionato a questa pellicola. D'altronde come si può non amare la magistrale interpretazione degli attori che lo compongono? Jack Nicholson e Shelley Duvall: un mix fra recitazione e doppiaggio italiano perfetti, capace di far spavento e ridere nello stesso istante. Non nascondo che ho sperato con tutto me stesso che arrivasse la versione Chase... ho acceso un cero in chiesa, mi sono inginocchiato sui ceci frustandomi, per cento volte, col nervo di bue, ho persino strofinato il pacco di Amazon sul mio povero coniglio domestico, prima di aprirlo, in modo da assorbirne tutta la fortuna "tellica" (il coniglietto, infatti, si chiama Tellino) e di inglobarla in quei sei pezzi di cartone per far si che la magia si avverasse... ma... purtroppo... inevitabilmente... Quando ebbi finito, rimasi per un momento seduto a terra, con lo sguardo perso nel vuoto e la versione regular stretta nelle mani impotenti. Mi voltai e vidi Tellino che, osservandomi dall'ombra del suo cantuccio con la sua espressione saggia ma rassegnata, sembrava volermi trasmettere tutta la sua afflizione e tutto il suo disdegno nell'essere stato usato per uno scopo tanto effimero... 🐰 Comunque, a parte gli scherzi, sono stato lo stesso stra-super-soddisfatto della versione normale. Ultima chicca, non da poco, sulla plastica trasparente della scatola è riportata la scritta "REꓷЯUM" schizzata di sangue che aggiunge un certo non so che a tutto l'insieme. Oggetto da collezione che non può assolutamente mancare, soprattutto agli amanti del genere. Mega-Consigliato!
