Spirit Life Training: If You Knew What God Has Put Within You, You Would Train It To Become Your Greatest Asset

I think Timothy Jorgensen has done a great service to the Body of Christ. So many think you have to be specially called of God to walk with Jesus and release His agape love into the Earth in signs and wonders. Timothy presents a valid training program addressing the main parts of man - body, soul and spirit. He shows how focus, planning, obedience, determination and grit can release God into the Earth as you train yourself to be more capable of handling the glory of the Lord. As Paul said, 1 Cor 15:10 "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me." So Timothy shows exercises on how to labor with the grace of God to produce or release the grace of God in our lives. This opens another door on the often convoluted discussions on grace versus works.Timothy's chapter on imagination is inspired and clearly addresses a subject that confuses many on the topic of visualization. As a scientist working in high technology I can assure you that very little creativity happens without focused use of imagination. His study programs at the end of each chapter help to apply the material and gives you concrete steps on how to implement his training program. Overall he shows that "God is no respecter of persons," and that those who decide to labor in the Lord can transform their lives and the lives of those around them. If you have never had any organized spiritual development, this book is a great starter. If you are an old hand, and have been doing spiritual disciplines, you will read insights and tips that can improve your current walk. I highly recommend this book for any and all Christians, especially if you are going through difficult times now, or want to see more of God's power. God is limited by your response to Him. That voice telling you to get this book and do this is the grace of God begging you to let Him work more in you and through you.

This is not a self help book, it is not a wimpy learning manual. This is a training guide that will kick you into the right place (if you actually do the exercises). I have been looking for something that will help to train me in spiritual things - especially being Jesus to the world around me. Many books do an okay job of teaching some basic principles, but this one will make you dig in. I am a doer and this was the one I needed.Each chapter does an excellent job of teaching you about the concept at hand. Then at the end of every chapter, there are lists of questions that you fill in (regarding the things you learned while reading). There are practical exercises that are assigned at this time. If you complete all exercises (not all are easy, mind you), this book will challenge you to experience new things in your walk with God.Highly recommend but only if you do what Jorgensen gives you to do. Otherwise it is just a good book - which is not it's original intent.

This book is awesome. I bought the ebook first, but because of the practicality of each Chapter, I had to order a physical copy. This is a book that was designed to take you from where you are, to where God wants you to be.

Spirit Life Training is the best book I have ever read about our being an relationship with The Holy Spirit!I would recommend it to any pastor and every Christian who wants to grow spiritually and to have personal relationship with The Holy Spirit!

I truly ask new converts and todays christians to forgive us as a church for not teaching and training them how to live life spirtiually on earth. We must do as God commanded -go make disciples(teachable- students of God's way of doing things). This book allows you to understand that there is an exchange within that manifests without. I will truly use this knowledge in my jail ministry-training.

Absolutely wonderful book. The healing ministry that I am a part of is doing this book. It is definitely having a positive effect on our ministry. I hope to teach it at my church.
