I just wanted some basic pins for when I'm in the sewing mood. I definitely wanted ones with glass heads because 1. I want to be able to hold on the them and 2. I wanted to be able to find them once I dropped them on the floor which I prone to doing. My eyes wanted to find them before my feet do. These pins are pretty decent. I've only used a few of them, but they seem sharp and straight. The glass heads are a nice size, and the colors are bright enough that I see them clearly on the carpet. The price is excellent, especially for the amount you get. I won't be needing pins for a long time. These didn't break my bank and I'm very happy with this purchase

They are to nice and long. I long a p long pin and the ones with glass heads never get messed up when you accidentally hit one with the iron!

A good sturdy pin for my sewing. The price was good and the case is useful.

Love it, the pins are very good quality. A little ticker, good for cotton and heavy fabric, not for silk or chiffon.

These were purchased to add to our sewing kits for Operation Christmas child shoeboxes - they work great in these sewing kits - I know that the girls receiving this kits will use them and appreciate this added item!

I sew, for a living. I am very particular about the straight pins I use to sew as many off brands are dull, and when pushed through the fabric they catch etc. THESE ARE VERY SHARP, like REALLLLLLY sharp. They are smooth and go through fabrics like a dream (even my crazy 4 way stretch velvets). They do not bend easily. I used them on a cloak that gets 5-6 layers thick in some spots and only bent 1 (but mind you that spot also broke a denim needle on my machine so it was beyond a tough spot for a pin to go through) I used to pay this same price for 100pc count on my pins. I'll never go back. Buy these with confidence.

These are the first sewing pins I've bought in 10 years. My inventory was running low so I finally moved the purchase of new pins up on my priority list. I've had them for a couple of weeks now and am using them in my quilting hobby. My order arrived sooner than expected. The case seems very sturdy, as do the pins. They are as described. I dumped them out on my table to check them over, and out of 250 pins (no, I didn't count them, just assumed the order was correct :) ), I found 4 defective pins - 2 were bent, 1 strangely had 2 metal shafts coming out of 1 head, and 1 tip had not been sharpened. The pin heads are not a perfectly consistent size, but doesn't affect their use. I haven't tested the heat resistance of the pin heads yet when ironing. The one thing that stands out is how sharp these pins are! You wouldn't think so just from looking at the tips, but they are extremely sharp. I have accidentally poked my hands and fingers a few times now, so need to learn to be a little more careful using them. I've decided that because of all the pin pokes I'm experiencing, I will be putting all the pins into a bowl and sterilizing them with clorox spray (and then rinsing, of course). All in all, I really like these pins and highly recommend them.
