Wow! Excellent Flavor
We purchase this monthly, excellent salt, with that wonderful smokey undertones of bourbon. I have tried smoked salts before and they had an artificial smokey flavor that I do not like. Not this one, the flavor is subtle and perfectly balanced, the bourbon adds to the natural smoke flavor.I highly recommend this salt and the full line of these products, they make excellent gifts for those cooks in your life.

Great Salt Seasoning
We love this seasoned salt! Great on steaks, burgers and even pork. The salt grains are fairly large so you have to be careful not to put too much on.

Holy Smokes
A good smoky flavor to this salt. Not so much bourbon which is fine. I don’t put it in liquids so can’t comment on how it dissolves. Great on fish as a dry rub. Tasty in salads but the crystals are large and hard. They appear smoky in color but who cares! I’ve reordered multiple times and consistently good. The container it’s in could use some improvement but it’s a minor issue. I recommend!

Bring a bit of the outside, inside
I have been experimenting with various smoked sea salts, for the last two years, or so. I have to say, there haven't been many that I've not thoroughly enjoyed. I think my absolute favorite is the, 'Applewood' smoked sea salt, but different varieties work a special magic with particular recipes, even though the differences are very subtle. But, you begin to recognize them, envisioning the meals that would best benefit from their enhancement.This one is a good one to try. While I don't need 'smoke' while grilling over charcoal, I do love it when cooking inside. So, if you have your inside George Forman, or other kitchen grill system, this will bring a bit of the outside -- inside.These salts are a better value than one might first consider. They last a long time. Not much product is needed for the expected results. So, if you're new to smoked salts, or just adding to your pantry, I don't think you can go wrong.
