Schylling Polka Puppy Jack in the Box - Classic Children's Musical Toy that Dances - Colorful Embossed Tin Box and Lovable Puppy Plush - Age 18 months and Up

Bought this a couple months ago for my son and so far it’s still going strong even after his baby sister tossed it across the room lol. Safe to say it’s durable. Mine arrived safely and did not have any defects. I haven’t had any issues with the handle. The puppy is really soft and it’s cute how it continues dancing after he pops up. To me that’s what makes it better than a regular jack in a box. It’s easy to push the plush dog back in to close the lid. The lid snaps closed effortlessly. I wouldn’t pay anymore than $15 for it though... Because it’s a simple toy that kids will get bored of quickly. This one is great quality and the music plays perfect at a good volume. It was a great birthday gift! My son is 6 and can use it without any help. I’d recommend it especially if you can get a good price deal on it.

I purchased this for my Autistic grandson. He enjoyed this toy.

I bought this for my neighbor's child and he loves it. It's more of an old-fashioned toy but what the children enjoy is the music, the puppy moving and the surprise when it goes into action. The toy is well-made and will last longer than more cheaply made goods. Very young children respond to toys with music; this one also incorporates small motor movement. I highly recommend!

This toy arrived broken. It was placed in an Amazon box without original packaging, not in a box or even wrapped with a thin piece of plastic, so during shipping the door opened,the Jack popped out and it arrived bent forward and sideways. I could not push it back into the box and latch the door. It also looks like the tin door itself is poorly designed as it is a millimeter or two too small, and so the latch that is supposed to cycle in and out of open and closed mode as you turn the handle, is unable to catch and hold the door. If I did manage to close the door it popped open immediately in a matter of a second or two without even a turn of the crank. So this item is defectively designed and it was damaged in shipping. I will be returning this immediately. I paid almost $30 for this piece of trash, and now my youngest granddaughter will not have a present for me this year. This was the puppy Jack in the Box, so I don't know about the other versions, as reviews for all versions of the Jack-in-the-Box seem to be displayed here together.

Color is bright, music is great for the surprise pop up.

I love the movement of the puppy, it doesn't just pop up, but it also dances!!! Super cute and a wonderful unique baby gift !!! My granddaughter (8 months) and great niece (10 months) absolutely love them - great toy and unique.

El material de la cajita es de muy buena calidad, el del peluche también, al principio es algo complicado meter el peluche, pero rápido encuentras la forma de hacerlo, no solo a mi niña de 4 años le encanto mucho, sino a todos en general, a pesar de que lo hemos usado muchas veces aun nos sigue espantando el perrito cuando sale jejeje, en general estoy muy satisfecha con la compra y sin dudarlo lo volvería a comprar.

The kids get engaged in cranking the lever in the right direction to get the music playing and excited in anticipation of the dancing dog to pop open the hatch as they jump back in full laughter. Everyone can’t wait to have their turn next.

Regalo de santa para mi hija de 2 años. Lo amo completamente, es muy tierno, el diseño de la caja es bastante bonito, material de lata, funciona bien pero a la hora de salir el perrito se supone que se tambalea a ambos lados pero este solo lo hace a uno. Sin embargo es un muy buen regalo. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
