GE CYNC A21 Smart LED Light Bulbs, Color Changing Room Decor, Bluetooth and WiFi Light Bulbs, 100W Equivalent, Work with Amazon Alexa and Google Home (2 Pack)

I've bought a lot of bargain LED Smart bulbs. The most common complaint I have is that they don't dim much, usually around 40% before they just turn off. Fair enough for cheap ones, but after trying these I have changed my tune completely. The Cync app is one of the best functioning lighting apps i've used, it contains loads of programs and options to make your own. These bulbs work 100% without issue in my home and have made my desire for dimmer switch in my dining area vanish - it's all in the app. Any simple, white or clear/frosted shade or lighting option right in the ceiling allows you to really see the colors as you choose them within the Cync app. It's got other features as well, you can configure these so they are reactive to sound, and my next plan is to get a few sockets recessed into my ceiling to have reactive lighting when movies or music are on. It really does open up the possibilities and while these aren't the cheapest bulbs to do it with, i'm thinking these are the base quality that we should demand as standard -- Anything other than these i've found, in my 5-10 years of trying these types of things out has been unable to truly do what these do. And for people wanting to match the tone of the sun at sunrise, sunset or mid-day can get awfully close with these too - it's brilliantly laid out within the Cync app. The other great surprise with these A21 bulbs are that a single one in the ceiling of a bedroom is bright enough to do anything i could imagine and then some. Usually when i'm working in there i set them at around 70%, and toned to match sunrise. Makes the walls feel a little warm. Zero complaints at the moment, 5 star product!

These bulbs are less expensive in general AND don't require a hub. Two big wins there. I've had two of these installed on my front porch for a week or so now, and they're still shining bright. Installation was as simple as screwing in a light bulb. To set them up, I installed the Cync app and used that. I initially had a failure adding the bulbs, but later determined it was because I was attempting to name a room and a group with the same name during setup. When I retried setup and used different names, it worked flawlessly. After setup the bulbs needed a firmware update. Ya, weird... light bulbs... firmware... The update failed on both bulbs at first - don't know why. When I went back in to try again it worked just fine and they both updated. Adding the group to Google home was simple, but USING them is hit/miss. It looks like Google has issues talking with the Cync servers. Using the Cync app worked every time. For these particular bulbs, I really don't have a desire to use Google Home, but if I get additional interior bulbs I'll have to dig further. I got the A21 (100W equivalent) so they were brighter, but after installing these the A19s would be fine. In fact I've set the dim to 50% they were so bright. Changing colors and setting favorites is easy, and the animated stuff is cool. In the attached video, they go from "normal", to "candle", to "vegas", to "lava", then back to normal. You can create your own effects as well. I'm considering replacing my kitchen bulbs with these!

Set up can be a little bit of a hassle, but it seamlessly works with Google Assistant, and I have Nest Audios. I can command it to set to a certain hue, which is cool. There's also an app that GE has that you can make the light do displays and things, fun to play around with!! Candle setting, Emergency lights setting, all kinds of hues, its pretty cool. A little on the pricey side, but I think its worth it. GE makes one that responds to music as well. Fun!

These are easy to install, we’ve put them in multiple locations. iPhone app is okay, a bit fiddly.

I have these lightbulbs in every lamp in my house, you can change them to any color of the rainbow, you can even change the warmth of the white light. the app has a super user friendly interface as well!

Amazing but over priced. I love these smart lights as a regular light. Not into all the colors, only use the natural white, but these are great. The fact they work with Alexa makes them ever better.

Got here on time, easy to program and super easy to pair with my Alexa. Love the brightness and the adjustability of the brightness.
