Recommend!
Firstly, don’t believe the negative reviews. Most people have no idea how to properly apply furniture wax. Secondly, as far as beeswax polish goes, this one is really good. There’s a trend with manufacturers catering to a wider demographic, trying to appeal to general audiences. This is great for the craft of woodworking itself, but not so good for many consumers. This kind of advertising makes techniques, tools, and supplies seem easier to use than they are. This company is one of those. It can take years to perfect your technique for applying furniture wax. Don’t be dissuaded if it doesn’t work as easily as the advertisements imply. Wax is simple to apply, but difficult to apply correctly. You have to layer it, using very small amounts at a time, and in small areas at a time, and the satin sheen is only revealed after thorough buffing. You must have patience. This isn’t the easiest product to use (none are). But with practice you can reveal some truly beautiful pieces. There are two main types of furniture wax: beeswax and microcrystalline wax. I prefer microcrystalline wax, but it’s incredibly expensive, so I often resort to beeswax for most projects. If you’re looking at photos online, or if you’re comparing your efforts with beeswax to an existing piece and find yourself dissatisfied, it may be because the other piece/photo has microcrystalline wax applied and not beeswax. As far as beeswax goes, every brand I’ve tried seems about the same. You really can’t go wrong. I like Furniture Clinic because they offer a wide range of products and seem to really care about their customers. But if you don’t like this product you probably won’t like any others, due to how similar they are. If you are serious about learning to wax, I recommend giving microcrystalline wax a try. I’ve only recently become acquainted with it, and it goes on and buffs off so well compared to beeswax. It’s very easy to use and gives fantastic results much quicker than beeswax. I just want people to understand what they’re getting into. Do not follow the directions from the video for this product. Go online and do some research into how to best apply beeswax polish before trying to use this. Hope this helps!

A staple for anyone who does woodworking or restoring.
I used this in the restoration of an old 1920s mantle clock. Using a super fine grade of steel wool, this helped to polish away years of buildup on the wood and made it look practically brand new.

Worked great!
I’ve had these book shelves for years. After using this they look new. It does have a temporary smell that disappears, and that the mineral spirits. It is not meant to be used on cutting boards!! Use pure bees oil wax for that.

Great for wood and leather to condition and repair.
Great for a refinished piece of woodwork to make drawers glide smoothly. Also as a wood and leather conditioner around the house on many items, including our leather sofa.

It gave a Protective satin finish to my armoire
I use this on a piece of furniture that I painted with chalk paint. It takes a little bit of work and elbow grease and a few layers, but the end results are beautiful.

Nice Accent Tone To Add Warmth & Protect
I used a clear wax before applying incase I didn’t like the effect. However that may of made it go on lighter? I liked the effect but if I had time I would have applied another coat after it dried but I needed it done for holiday guests.
