Sinners Condemned: An Enemies to Lovers Mafia Romance (Sinners Anonymous) Paperback – 12 Aug. 2022

This is by far in my top 3 books of the year. Read the duet in a day and a half because I just couldn’t put it down 😅The chemistry and the tension between Penny and Rafe was just out of this world, with so much banter and electricity. I feel that they compliment each other so nicely. I struggled to find a book that had such an angsty back and forth between the characters, with a strong female lead, and this certainly exceeded my expectations.Not to mention that the story line is just magnificent, and being back in the Visconti universe never fails.Also I loved that we had so many snippets of Rory and Angelo, as I missed them.Overall 5 slow burning, delicious stars from me. Bring on Gabe 😈

This is a review of both Sinners Condemned and Sinners Consumed.This was near 5 stars for me. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because it is a duet and I didn’t understand why we couldn’t have this story in a single (albeit longer) book.Nonetheless, I absolutely loved it. The plot is very well written and the character development is really good. I absolutely love the banter between Rafe and Penny!I also loved the cameos from Angelo and Rory as well as Gabe, who remains an intriguing mystery. Scratch that, Gabe is MENTAL and I love it so much! Can’t wait for his story!I did a read and listen and the narrators’ performance was sublime! This book was the epitome of slow burn and I ate it all up. I couldn’t put it down! From start to finish I was hooked.Rafe absolutely stole the show for me. I thought I was obsessed with his brother, Angelo, but that was nothing compared to the grip Rafe had me in.I absolutely loved Penny. Her sass and sarcasm had me howling and just her whole back story really intrigued me. Her and Rafe together was like fire and fire.There was so much TENSION. Any scene with Rafe & Penny was just full of it - it was intense. They also had so much sexual chemistry too, I was drowning in it. I just can’t get enough of them.I also adored getting to see more of the three Dip brothers together. There was so much humour, especially any scene with Rory interacting with the brothers.I’m so excited to see how Rafe & Penny’s story continues in the next book!

I was drawn to the characters and I enjoyed their banter and their chemistry crackled with tension making me obsess over every single moment of interaction between Penny and Rafe. Overall, this is a devourable read with great pacing and lovable characters. I can't wait to continue reading this duet!

This story SHOULD have appealed to me. I liked the first one and I like the premise and characters of this one. Maybe even better.However, I only really got into properly maybe for the last 10% of the book. Since Rafe and Penny's story will technically continue in the next book - speaking of which, the ending was more than a little abrupt and definitely cut off at a weird time of the story - so maybe the next one will be it for me.Speaking of which, I'm actually looking forward to Gabe's story. I want to know what happened that both Rafe and Angelo alluded to that changed him. I like the thought of Gabe and Wren ending up together.

This was everything I want in a book.Good story line.Plot that keeps you wondering and guessing.Dual point of view.Character development.Overall great read, I’m just not a fan of needing to read another book to see how the story ends…. But of course I will.

Ahhh this was incredible totally obsessed with Rafe…Penny is bada$$, the banter between them both is soooo good… can’t wait to read the next one.

i really enjoyed this 1st book with this couple ( this couples story will end in the next book and the books after will be diff couples in the same world. i could feel the tension between them, their chemistry and feelings towards each other, it was enticing. it is a mafia romance novel, it has a really good build up/ momentum into the romance nothing was rushed nor too slow and good amount of push and pull/ angst. Penny was a strong female lead and Rafe had a good balance of alpha feels but with a bit the right amount of softness towards Penny. im really looking forward to seeing what's going to happen next. im off to buy the next one!

The events from book 1 carry over to this book- however we are following a new couple. Rafe & Penny. We still see the characters from book 1 & we do get a lot more interactions within this mafia family that will have you invested like you are part of it.Rafe’s world literally turned upside down the moment he met Penny, however that never slows this man down for getting what he wants. Penny is on the run, and decides that now is a good time to go back to her hometown- & because she was up to her old tricks the trouble she was running from just may have gotten bigger.This couple was literally made for each other. And who knew that excellent banter could be pulled off as foreplay- but JESUS they both had me squirming. I have not read something that turned me on AND made me laugh out at the same damn time!BUT the romance in this- was just GOLD. Penny was so unapologetically herself and just matched Rafe’s energy it was so so so delicious. Honestly, Rafe may have bit too much he could chew with Penny. Because I have never seen a man become such a SIMP for a woman like Rafe. He may have been fighting it, but it was truly inevitable. Match made in heavy or hell, depends who you ask.Overall, this will be probably one of my top reads of the year. I enjoyed every second of my time with these two and the plot outside of the couple / romance was still very interesting. So i am screaminggggg coz what the heck the book is bloody amazing. I love penelope and her sassiness and how Rafael bows down most of the time after challenging her. This enemies to lovers is just like blood running in my veins and I’m off to read this hot sizzling chemistry turn into something more beautiful.
