It’s confusing the Quick start book and if you go to the second section in the manual English,first I think is Chinese but certainly Asian in character, update 05/27/2021 two issues, first the camera does not pan down (vertical) enough to see lower than the camera level. I believe if you mount upside down and flip the video 180 degrees than I think it would be ok because it does raise high.Second if you slightly move the camera make sure that the power plug doesn’t move. 1/8 of an “ and it’s not attached for power purposes although by eye it looked to be ok and remember the power plug is in the rear. UPDATE 05/28/21 I don’t have any real issues that doesn’t have a reason to blame the camera. 1, intermittently you may have gaps in your cloud recording. I believe it is more of an internet issue and not a device issue. 2, If your desire is to look towards the floor more often than the ceiling then the flip and mount work fine. I can see what I need for my requirements.01/08/2022The only issues ( I may have mentioned) the plug to the camera will come out with the slightest movement (think cleaning under it).Take a piece of tape (electrical preferred because of strength & longevity) and “ butterfly” it around the plug, simular to an IV or blood test tape looks like a Breast Cancer Ribbon ( you should donate to your local charity)with the cord in the middle that’s the idea and it will hold.If you want to pan down vs the level of the camera mounting and higher is to mount upside down at a higher vantage point and “ flip 180” in the settings..Picture is great. Timeline captures 85-90% of the overnight in the cloud. Could be my connection. I also tried many times the SpotPro (this years) and although I had no problem with the setup or the live view. Did not have a problem selecting the free 7 days of cloud recording.Got the cloud timeline. Nothing recorded. Spoke with support. Got another, returned another nBought two more of these and I’m good

Tried to set it up. Never showed video. Alternating Blue/Yellow flashing light of death. Have to contact support. Tried to download the LAN fix it tool from their website and the dropbox link is broken.How do you sell something like this with no factory reset that you have to download a windows installer tool?This was terrible and I want my 2 hours back trying to get this to work

One of the key things to note about this IP Security Cam is it is one of the few you can still use and monitor with a PC Desktop web browser, so many only support mobile apps, so if you want one with mobile apps and PC Desktop Browser support then Spotcam is your go to brand. The monitoring, alerts, two way voice, IR, and siren/alarm mode are awesome. They also give you 24 hours of cloud storage so you can always see the last 24 hours of what happened and have a history of trigger events. I am a huge fan of Spotcam and their newest Eva 2 is smaller and better than the original with excellent camera rotation and angling.

Easy camera to install and update. Nice clear picture of my monitored space. I especially wanted a device with enviromental monitor which limited choices. This camera had everything I needed.

The camera quality is ok. The promised features are very nice if they work.- The SpotCam app itself is slow.- Alerts will keep alerting with no way to adjust the intervals. Could get annoying really quick.- All the vital features worked except the hygrometer reading was off as I compared it to 2 other devices. There is noway to calibrate the temperature or humidity if this is off.Without these added features working correctly, I can get a better camera for the same price w/o the vital sensors.

I've had 4 of the Sense Pro (& 2 interior Sense) SpotCams for about 4 years. I just replaced 2 that lost their night vision recently. But other than that, I've liked them. The free cloud DVR feature (24 hours recording) is super helpful. The built-in Motion, Temp, Humidity, Illumination, Audio, & Offline alerts (and night vision) are the real selling point. That, and the fact that you can leave these on constantly, and not rely on motion to activate them (and thereby miss the action). Also, you can link them to IFTTT to control them with automation, or kick automation off. I can also say that their customer support is very good. The software (PC or app) to view and control them is slow, and a little buggy, but it works, and I'm fine with it.

Have had this camera for a couple years and it does work as advertised however the camera disconnects from my WiFi many times per day. I am sure it is not my wireless signal. This is a pain in the ass but we deal with it. I am sure there are other cameras out there that have less connection issues.

The SpotCam Sense Pro is a unique camera that not only gives you what other cameras monitor but also information about the environment where the camera is located. The parameters that are monitored includes temperature, humidity, light changes, sound and movement. This camera is appropriate for indoor and outdoor use. The company does respond to inquires until the issue is resolved. I have had SpotCam cameras for years and would recommend them to others.
