The cats on the outside are raised without leaving major divets inside that impact your ability to clean it, which is a huge plus!While they are listed as microwave safe, the handles to get unbearably hot with just the shortest microwave session, so I wouldn't recommend them for that.They otherwise seem super sturdy and are just as cute as pictured!
