Not compatible after latest firmware update on my printer (Epson XP 440)
Unfortunately, these are no longer compatible with my Epson XP 440 printer after the latest firmware update. I realize that this may not be the manufacturer's fault, but beware that they may not be compatible, even if they say that they are.

Not exactly what was pictured but seems to work
These work fine with my printer (XP-440) however I didn’t get exactly what was in the picture. The two black cartridges were a brand called G&G. I’ve tested it out and it works well, except for a few faded words on one page of a two page document. I might need to clean my printer head though, this isn’t exactly a top notch printer when it clogs after every couple uses. I’ve read that these are incompatible with some peoples printers after a firmware update and that is why I have held back from doing the update even though it tells me there is one every time I turn it on. I just hit “ok” and don’t do it. Epson wants you to pay for THEIR expensive cartridges and that’s why they make them incompatible. My current firmware version that DOES work with these is 20.24.SO16J4 and you just go to your printers IP address to find out what yours is.

Firmware update makes these non-functional
A firmware update from Epson has rendered these useless - I would not recommend buying them at this point. My printer no longer recognizes these cartridges, so it will not print with them. These 3rd-party cartridges worked okay for a short time, but then I foolishly installed a firmware update on my Epson XP-434, and it no longer recognized the cartridges. It's hard to blame this product for this issue, but nonetheless, it renders this product basically useless. That said, I did have some smudging issues for quite some time after using these cartridges (which lingered even when I switched back to "official" Epson cartridges), so I can't even recommend them in terms of quality, assuming they worked in the printer.I never plan to buy another Epson printer, and I hate to recommend anything made by Epson, but in this case, it seems your only choice is to buy the over-priced Epson brand ink cartridges.

printer does not recognize this ink cartridge
i bought a new printer, which always comes with only trial sz ink cartridges. so i ordered these for my backup. i just installed them last week. whew, what a time consuming waste. the black, yellow and red are fine. the blue/cyan does not work. printer does not recognize it, the contact points on the cartridge do not even look like the contacts on the original. it caused me to waste entirely too much time on ink. I ended up calling Epson, and buying only a Blue/Cyan from them. was not cost efficient after saving a dollar here. so, beware. check the contacts on the refubs immediately when rec'd, or your time will run out for returns and you may be stuck with something such as this. seller shipper fast, and the other 3 work fine so far, so, just be careful..

A Great Solution Without a Huge Price Tag
Great quality ink that is long lasting. I was a little concerned after buying our new all in one printer because it seemed to go through ink at an amazingly frustrating rate. However after installing these XL ink cartridges, we've been very pleased with the print quality and the length of time the ink supply lasts. I highly recommend these for anyone who has a medium to high output printer in their small business office, or who prints a lot in color at home.

Bad ink. DON
I ordered an entire pack of ink including two XL black cartridges in November to have when we needed a replacement. We replaced the black cartridge today and it never printed. The paper was plain white. So we cleaned the heads, re-Alligned everything and checked setting numerous times. We then tried to unclog the hole where ink comes out. Nothing. So we opened the other black cartridge and did the same list of things. It printed some but not everything and looked like what ink looks like when it’s running out, not brand new and full. Now it’s too late to return and get a refund or exchange and we are super unhappy. Ink is so expensive, so I thought cutting a corner would help. Never doing that again. With this ink, it’s going to cost me full price PLUS the money I’m out for bad ink this company sent. DO NOT WASTE time by thinking you’re saving $$$!

awesome return policy
I actually left a bad review for this item in another page only because one of the black ink cartridges wasn't printing right. it left lines through the letters even after I aligned them with my printer. I then called the company who has an awesome return policy and they automatically sent out a new cartridge to me without any problems. I recant my last review and will continue to purchase these.

LIKE LD CARTRIDGES - BUT WHY DID I GET G&G CARTRIDGES?
Have always been happy with LD cartridges and their help working around EPSON firmware updates. But this order came with Black and Yellow cartridges with the label G&G. Not the same cartridge numbers I expected, no Lifetime Guarantee showing on the G&G boxes, "Use Before" writing on the G&G box but no date (LD cartridges do not have a date like this. The writing on the back of the G&G box may say guarantee or specify the date but cannot be read without a magnifying glass. Beware. LD sent this package direct via Priority Mail. I will be contacting them regarding this. The ratings are for my experience with LD Cartridges in the past.
