Solid piece of kit to do the job
I needed this for a film job as the camera was using CFAST cards and it was nicely solid, easy to use and no problems at all. If simple and reliable is what you want then this will do the job.

I've had a couple of card adaptors. This is a quality item.

Didn't work, sent back within 30 minutes.
I bought this for CFast and the occasional SD card but it didn't work. So, it was quickly returned as it's an expensive SD card reader.It seemed to be well built but if it doesn't work, it doesn't work and there are better options if you want an SD card reader.Sorry.

Compact Flash and CFast Cards are different - This reads and writes to both!!
Having recently purchased a secondhand Canon C300 MkII video camera, I discovered that I needed to buy some Cfast cards for it, which are different than Compact Flash. This gadget allows me to read write both sorts of cards, plus others and plugs straight into a USB-C on my MacBook Pro. The Reader is very nicely made and I am delighted with my purchase.
