Has lasted for years
Bought for my son probably 2 years ago... I don't think he ever tried to download the app and do all the cool stuff with it. But they are still fully functioning and the remote still works, and he loves them. There are some parts where the adhesive has come loose but that is not at all. A fault of the manufacturing more so of my 2-year-old! 😂 I personally love the color options... Even though he only uses about three of the different colors.

Bright
I got the 50ft. I couldve been okay with just 25-30ft but I got double the size for a more powerful look. Needless to say it did the job, I was surprised at the stickiness of it but still to be safe I added a clear durable tape to hold.

These are good lights! I got them for my hubby for the garage and they have held out pretty nicely for being in a outside environment the controls are easy to set up and have a lot of different settings
