The iron is great, works well but it is very hard to remove the water tank. My elderly mother can not remove it to refill she has to wait until I visit to refill, I struggle to remove the tank as well

I bought this steam iron when I moved into a new house in 2021. When I plugged it in, I was aware that it did not work in certain sockets and assumed that it was my house wiring - it was a new house. I do not use it often - probably every other month - so no more than 20 times in 3 years and every time it required me moving to a different socket. The last time I tried to use it a couple of months ago - on trying to turn it on - the light flashed and then it wouldn't work at all. I wish I had sent it back in the first place as it was expensive £200 and was obviously faulty but now it's too late. Very disappointing.
