If you need a bunch of generic creatures, this is a great start!
In this set you get 10 sets of 4 minis each. Each set of 4 has two light gray and two dark gray creatures --Gnolls, Shamblers (think a smaller shambling mound), Drakes, Werebears, Blobs? I have no idea what these guys are haha), kobolds, bugbears, golems (just think tall guys), yetis and mimics. The sculpts themselves are pretty well detailed, but I have to say that some of my units came with bent accessories where they're thin. Because of the packaging they come in, a plastic container where they can be jostled and slammed around one another, I guess I was expecting that? One of my werebears actually came with a broken axe, which is a heck of a bummer. The yetis being included is actually a really cool thing because they're Large creatures (2x2 if you're using the 1" grid). Usually if you buy a series of miniatures like this you end up only getting small/medium creatures. This was a nice change. If you're buying this for yourself, to make your DM/GMing life easier, I'd say go for it! This is decently priced and has a fair assortment of creatures. If you want to get these minis for another person that's running a game, maybe choose a different set. It's a real bummer to give someone else stuff that's going to be broken or warped...

Decent quality, unusual assortment RECOMMEND!
This collection offers a fantastic assortment for DMs looking for monsters, especially if you're sending your low-level players into a frozen mount region with a golem-creating BBEG. While some starter hordes focus on the standard skeletons, goblins, bandits, etc., this group adds more flavor. Four of each type allows for them to function as wandering monster scouts or raiders, but you'd need more to populate a full lair. I appreciate that the kobolds actually are small sized (and adorable), but the cockatrices are medium sized, when they should be small. In a pinch, they could pass as dragon wyrmlings. For those painting their minis, these minis have more fine detail than you would expect for the price. The yetis, mimics, gnolls, and vine blights in particular lend themselves to painting, although the gnoll spears aren't straight. There are light mold lines, etc. to clean up, but the joints are really well glued with minimal gaps. All in all, they need far less prep work than many mini collections. They are not pre-primed. You won't confuse these for deep-cut minis, but a good wash should bring out the fine detail. The only one I fear might be too light is the flesh golem; the stiching is barely visible and I doubt I can confine different skin colors within those lines. This collection includes 4 of each (2 light, 2 dark): kobolds, cockatrice, gnolls, bugbears, werebears, vine blights, mimics, flesh golems, snow golems, and (large-sized) yetis. At well less than $1 per figure, these are worth your investment, especially if 2-3 types fit your immediate needs.

Decent miniatures
The miniatures arrived quickly and in good condition for the most part. One mini however was not attatched to the base that they require to stand. The individual pieces were not broken, so it can be reattached with glue. All of the others were fine.

cheap table fillers
Needed a bunch of place holder mobs to add to an upcoming engagement in our campaign. They are adequate for the money. Great starting point for new painters etc.

Great for 28mm mooks
Having been a gamer that uses minis since the 80s, I have seen a lot over the years. I have to say that this set pleasantly surprised me in the value for the money. The figures are of a better quality than I was expecting. Sure, they might not all come out perfect for some batches, but mine are fine.I saw a review say that these are not 28mm as "none of them are 28mm". How scale works is that a certain height is meant to measure 6 feet in height, in this case 28mm, or about 1.1 inches. Some of them are really close to it, and their scale is reasonable, and it is *not* false advertising to call them 28mm. These are monsters, and a lot of monsters are big and scary. You would probably want to use a better quality figure for your own character or an important NPC, but these are great for what they are. The plastic is reasonably strong. Don't be mean to them and dump them into a bag, but you can toss them around the table a bit (but not TOO hard, I once had a friend destroy his mini on purpose while we were gaming).

I got these to up an artistic eye using my air brush
I just got a 3D printer and am still learning how to use it, so I got this miniature set as a way to practice applying paint with my air brush in a realistic (sort of) manner to these little creatures/people. They are great to practice on while I learn to create 3D creatures and others on my own and then be able to paint them so they look good. I have a son and daughter that love playing Dungeons and Dragons, plus my daughter's SO has always collected miniatures from some different games - my thought is that I can maybe create some cool mini's for them to use or at least put on their shelf as a cool one their mom made. So possibly make a few bucks selling some and giving as gifts, these little minis are helping me get good at painting them and that works for me!
