I've had this phone system now for only about 5 weeks and so far I really like it -- but I always say a product really should be reviewed for a good length of time whether it be a nonstick frying pan or say a phone system. For example a nonstick pan should not be reviewed after a few uses, but a real review should be after using it 30 or 40 times at least. So far this phone is terrific and even does its best after the 2nd ring to announce the caller. It's top rated and only about 35 bucks. You can also get your messages remotely (from another location) and delete them the same way. It does alot more but so far I haven't explored the other features. Good buy for the money.

I purchased this for my Mom, it's her first ever cordless phone and she is not tech savvy. She loves the phone, especially the block caller button. She LOVES that feature. Setup was fairly easy for her and I was able to talk her through how to use other special features over the phone (we live in separate states). The caller ID display and buttons are easy for her to see and she hasn't had any complaints with the ringer volume. I can hear her clearly when we talk, she says I'm clear on her end too. When she puts me on speaker to say hi to her neighbor, I can't even tell that I'm really on it - super clear. It's been a month and so far no issues with it. She loves her new cordless freedom. Now if I can only talk her into getting a Smartphone....

I purchased this phone for my mother who is hard of hearing last year. Not only does she talk on it all day but my 1 year old son has banged this phone around countless times throughout the day. This phone has taken a few hard hits and is still standing so that proves that it is sturdy, good quality and reliable. This was a good buy because it was inexpensive serves it purpose and after several months of abuse actually still rings and has no issues.

Easy to install, great sound quality

I do like the phone except you can’t hear the answering machine. We have to get eight down by the phone to hear the messages. Had I known that I would not have purchased. We are older in age and hearing who is calling and the messages without getting right up to the phone would have been nice to know. I would have bought a different brand. What I do like is the ability to block callers...that feature is a plus for sure.

We ordered this phone as a replacement to a cordless phone that we had paid an outrageous amount of money for similar features, but that lasted five years.The new Panasonic KX serves as my office line in my home office. It not only looks sleek and modern, but it works great. Even for when I need to walk outside to get the mail or pick up the kids from the bus stop, the long range keeps my calls engaged.I enjoy the talking caller ID, which allows me to keep working on my computer without having to look up to the handset to see who's calling. I only wish there was a headset jack, so I can go hands-free, but the speaker phone is located on the handset (as opposed to the base) and works well.There is a call blocking feature that many other posters have complimented heavily. I have not had the opportunity to test it out (yes, I thank my lucky stars :) ) but given that all the other features are as advertised, I am sure it does all it promises to.Packaging was good and easy to open. There was very little set-up needed. I just plugged it in and it was good to go.

I have been very pleased with this landline phone. It is not too large, yet the numbers and screens are very easy to read. It looks good. It can be set to be quiet and you can select ring tones and can even give certain numbers a particular tone, but you can not turn the base ringer and the receiver tone completely off. so it is never going to be entirely silent. The true advantage of this phone is the one-button call block. As anyone with a landline knows, a landline means spam calls galore. After using this for a month, I have cut those calls by over 70% with just a push of the button. I especially enjoy pushing the button as the person is still talking =)

This product arrived within 24 hours. Way to go considering it started out south of MD. I had previous model about 8 years, which had basic features. My rotory lasted until things went digital and have owned several home portables that didnt last long. My prior panasonic outlasted the others until it no longer charged. Changed the batteries and still battery charge would not climb above one bar. So i ordered this. Its prettier in black than silver and has 1 more nice feature (block call) my other one doesn't have. In reading directions this uses recharageable batteries which made me realize i put in the wrong batteries on my old phone. Switched batteries and it charged to the top. Im giving this phone 5 stars because its predecessor has met all criteria, and assuming this one will to. I love the speaker feature on hand held because you can hear your caller clearly allowing me to move around freely without holding it. My old phone will eventually die and till then keeping the new phone.
