No it does not. The screen looks clear.

Yes. Try to get a carbon fiber case. They work the best

It doesn't harden but it is scratch proof as far as I can tell. I've had one on my phone for a few months now and does the job perfectly. And because the screen is curved a little at the edges it protects them too. Make sure when you receive you get 2 sealed screen protectors. My first order was opened and used already. My replacement order was perfect.
