Tecnoware UPS ERA PLUS 2600 TOGETHER ON - Power 2600 VA- IEC outputs - Autonomy up up to 50 min with 1 PC or 150 min with Modem Router

I have a 19" rack with 3x Dell R230 servers that need UPS protection. I purchased the Tecnoware 2400 as a replacement for an APC unit that developed a hardware fault. First thing to note is that the Tecnoware will not mount on the APC rails. However, after installing a 1U short shelf, the UPS slid into place and seems securely mounted (it is a little lighter than the APC unit). The UPS comes with a USB cable that you can connect to one of the servers. The Tecnoware website has documentation and software for the UPS. The software allows you to run a script to shut down all the servers when the battery capacity reaches a certain limit. easy to configure and it works (on WS2019). It has only been 1 week, but going by first impressions I would be happy to purchase another Tecnoware UPS.

Purchased a unit as I needed a UPS and the price and reviews lead me to believe this was a good product. After 2 months of use, I was satisfied enough that I purchased 2 more, so now own a total of 3. I regret not reading the negative reviews more carefully as the statements regarding "on time" when power is lost (approx. 3-5 min only) has been one issue, but the bigger issue is the cascade failure of the units as they age past their warranty dates. Like clockwork, each units backup battery has failed in succession, within 1-3 months of the warranty period expiring. I fought my inner voice to purchase a more expensive brand that I've used in the past, and now I'll end up paying for those anyway. I am now the less than proud owner of 3 very large and very heavy 2 port power strips, but no longer UPS units. Looked into replacement batteries, but those are 80%+ the cost of a new unit. These are cheap on Amazon for a reason! Save yourself the money and headaches and purchase a better, more well known brand.

Good, I’m using it for my NAS and it’s all going great so far When I shut off the power (for testing) it keeps on beeping so I like that feature and you can also connect it with the included USB cable so that when the backup battery reaches a certain percentage or after some time then it sends a signal for your PC or NAS to shut down gracefully

This product offers amazing quality hardware but its software is initially configured to continue making a very annoying loud beep every second while on AC mode, and then it automatically shuts down in 10 minutes even if the battery is still full. Good news is that you can change this from the settings, but bad news is that in order to access the settings, you have to install and configure that poorly documented stone again software that comes with the product ( it's name it UPSilon 2000 ) and you have to activate it using the license code that comes with the product and the connection the UPS through USB to the windows PC on which you installed and activated the software, and make sure to change the "Communication Type" to Mega(USB) in the settings of the software or else it wouldn't connect. Once connected you can customise all sorts of availabile settings for the UPS

It claims 40 minutes battery power, managed to get one hour backup for my qnap 4 bay NAS and a network rack (gateway, 24port 400w poe switch, ONT and 4 access points).

Unable take charge sometimes and backup got 5minuties only

My old review: Good product at a reasonable price 170 Dhs Does its job Update: It starts tripping and beeping when it is connected to 650 Watts of load. That's only half the rating. I have to turn some devices off, so I don't hear the annoying beep

What a bad product. Bad software. The software looks like it was made in 1994. Can’t adjust the GUI looks like it was made in Visual Basic. The software also needs a CD key to install. That info is on a piece of paper that can easily be thrown away. The UPS itself gives power. Makes beeping noises but because the software won’t communicate to the device I don’t see any status. I will not buy this again and highly recommend no one buy this. I would ask for a refund but i should have known better than to buy such a cheap UPS.

Il Tecnoware UPS EVO Plus è un gruppo di continuità da datacenter o stanze server, disponibile in tre varianti di potenza: da 1200VA, da 2400VA e da 3600VA. Può essere installato in verticale, usando i due supporti in plastica per l’appoggio, oppure montato in un rack standard da 19” (altezza 2U, include due placche in metallo per le maniglie ma non le slitte di supporto, in genere accessori del rack). È un gruppo di continuità di tipo “ON-LINE”: a differenza di dispositivi più economici, durante il funzionamento la corrente in uscita è totalmente disaccoppiata da quella entrante così che eventuali disturbi sulla rete non arrivano alle apparecchiature a valle e quando viene meno l’alimentazione il tempo di intervento è nullo. L’unico ‘svantaggio’ di questa tecnologia è che l’inverter è sempre in funzione e le due ventole interne di raffreddamento girano costantemente, rendendolo leggermente rumoroso. La potenza massima erogabile dal modello 2400 è di 2160W, sufficiente per alimentare più server e dispositivi connessi; contiene quattro batterie al piombo di tipo sigillato e formato standard da 12V e 9Ah, per un totale di 432Wh: a pieno carico garantisce 15’ di autonomia, ovviamente a carichi inferiori l’autonomia cresce proporzionalmente. Il display sul lato anteriore (che può essere ruotato per montaggio in verticale o orizzontale) riporta uno schema del funzionamento attivo e tramite tre tasti permette di visualizzare i parametri e commutare le modalità. Oltre al funzionamento ‘normale’ è possibile attivare una funzione di Bypass che connette direttamente ingresso e uscita (da utilizzare durante manutenzione o sostituzione delle batterie). Dispone anche di una modalità ‘ECO’ attivabile dal software Tecnomanager che permette di lavorare in bypass quando i parametri della corrente in ingresso stanno in un range di tolleranza e commutare quando escono (ciò permette di lasciare spento l’inverter e quindi di consumare meno). Sul lato posteriore sono presenti, oltre al connettore dell’alimentazione e alla griglia della ventola, otto prese IEC320 C13 (femmina) per il collegamento dei dispositivi da proteggere, una presa seriale e una USB per collegarlo a un computer, uno slot per un modulo opzionale (interfaccia SNMP ethernet, piuttosto che Modbus o altro) e il connettore EPO ponticellato che può essere usato per spegnere l’UPS da relè o segnale remoto. Dal sito Tecnoware, previa registrazione account, è possibile scaricare il software Tecnomanager (disponibile per Windows, Linux e OSX): si connette all’UPS via RS232 o USB e fornisce un’interfaccia web per la supervisione e il controllo: permette di attivare o disattivare funzioni, variare soglie e parametri e programmare spegnimento soft del computer e dell’UPS dopo un tempo impostato di funzionamento a batteria. Per esigenze più complesse, quali controllo centralizzato e notifiche a più dispositivi è possibile acquistare a parte il modulo SNMP e collegarlo alla LAN. Personalmente lo utilizzo su un PC ben carrozzato su cui girano alcuni servizi per i miei clienti: algoritmi di machine learning, database, web server ecc.; per garantirne la disponibilità l’UPS alimenta anche un NAS esterno e parte dell’infrastruttura di rete (switch e router fino alla fibra ottica); in caso di blackout a fronte di un consumo totale di quasi 800W dovrebbe garantire un’autonomia di oltre 30 minuti. Punti di forza: - molto compatto, montaggio tower o a rack - protezione continua da sovratensioni e sbalzi e in caso di blackout zero tempo di intervento - potenza 2400Wh può gestire diversi PC / server - 5 anni di garanzia in seguito a registrazione online (non copre le batterie) Altre considerazioni: - tecnologia “On-Line” richiede ventole sempre accese; è un po’ rumoroso quindi consigliato per stanze server, non per utilizzo su una postazione di lavoro - la scheda SNMP con attacchi RJ45 per gestione remota / autospegnimento delle apparecchiature è opzionale e va acquistata a parte - non ha uscite dirette filtrate (che sarebbero utili per proteggere dispositivi secondari) Si tratta di un dispositivo professionale adatto alla stanza dei server di piccole e medie imprese, per proteggere apparecchiature costose e dati da sbalzi di tensione e blackout temporanei. La taglia da 2400VA ha potenza sufficiente ad alimentare diverse macchine per il tempo necessario a superare l'emergenza o a spegnerle in modo soft; non dovesse bastarvi il modello più grande può aumentare ulteriormente l'autonomia collegando moduli di batterie aggiuntivi.

الجهاز ساعدني على ايقاف مشكلة هبوط الكهرباء اللحظية, لكن الجهاز صوته مزعج جدا كانه بليستشين 4 لم يتم تنظيفه من عدة سنوات. للاسف كتابة ان الجهاز باعلى درجات الهدوء مجرد خدعة تسويقية, بالاضافة الى ان الجهاز يبدو متعرض لضرر في احد شفرات المروحة وهو ضرر خفيف لا يأثر وايضا وصلتني البطارية مشحونة وهو ما جعلني اشك ان الجهاز ليس جديد تماما. ملاحظة عند وصول الجهاز يجب فتح الغطاء وتوصيل السلك الاحمر لتعمل البطارية, ثم قم بتوصيله بالكهرباء واضغط مطولا على ON حتى تسمع صافرة من اجل ان يعمل الجهاز. من اجل الاطفاء اضغط مطولا على off حتى تسمع صافرة ثم افصل سلك القابس الكهربائي ثم اضغط مجددا على off حتى يغلق الجهاز بالكامل. الخلاصة: الجهاز غير مناسب لغرف النوم بسبب صوته المرتفع الا اذا كنت تخطط لاطفائه بشكل يومي وهذا الاجراء قد يقلل عمر البطارية الافتراضي حسب معرفتي, الجهاز online حقيقي فلو كانت عندك مشكلة انخفاض جهد كهربائي لحظي او انقطاع في التيار الكهربائي اجهزتك لن تتأثر ابدا.
