Product stopped working after six months
I bought this radio back in July. It worked perfectly fine good quality until December when the screen just froze up, killed my battery in my vehicle. I disconnected the battery to shut the screen off and power to the radio and reconnected the battery and the radio stopped working. You would think that a brand new product that you buy would last more than six months. Very dissatisfied and believe that the company that sells this should replace the radio even though I did not get a warranty for it. I should not need to buy a new one after six months

Great Price, works as an FM radio, SD player and Bluetooth
This is the 2nd of these I bought.1st point: If you are getting this for the Mirror feature on an Android phone look carefully it is unlikely this will work with your phone.2nd point: It is clear this has FM radio, it DOES NOT have AM..This disappointed when I bought my 1st one, but for the price I can live w/o AM radio.Other issues: It has 3 FM bands, you can store plenty of stations; be aware, if you hit the "autoscan" button it will write over ALL of you saved stations. The radio does NOT come with the necessary 5mm bolts needed to install it.These issues (and the loose part I discuss later) made me derate from 5 stars, but it does earn 4 stars based on:One of the features I considered a must have is a rotary dial for volume control (I'm old school and like this feature). The touchscreen is intuitive, and functions pretty well. That said it is almost impossible to use while driving.. the steering wheel remote works very well while driving, and for me is indispensable. The instructions ask you to test it first before installing it..Cautioning it has "traveled a long way" This Is GREAT advice.. Before I hooked power to it I noticed a rattling sound ?? I opened it up and there was a loose metal piece, looks like a heat shield.. in the plastic bag there were 2 loose screws.. I put it all back together and all is fine the power on test is satisfactory. The unit is supposed to use the " factory" steering wheel buttons, I was not able to make this work, it is me, my trucks wiring or something else, who knows. anyway the unit comes with a steering wheel mounted remote.. it works great (just as it does on teh one I bought a year earlier in my other truck). The unit comes with a back-up camera, The one I installed on my other truck the B/U camera display works as it should.. I have yet to install the camera on this one.The seller sent me an email, offering support, with an additional (digital) installation manual.. As I implied above it comes with a PAPER instruction book.In summary:Would I buy it again.?. YES, I actually didIt is a high end unit? NO, but at the price I bought the first one I considered it a bargain, a year later, when I saw Amazon had it on sale for 1/2 what I previously paid I bought another, for my "older" winter duty only truck.Even though I do not seek support, the seller offered. It DOES have good FM reception, plays any of my MP3 files from a micro SD "chippy" I installed, connects to my phone via bluetooth.

Some great features but a bit of a mixed bag here
As with any aftermarket car radio you're going to have to interface it to the wiring harness for your vehicle. Not terribly hard, but definitely not plug and play. Apple CarPlay works well and I love using the Waze app with this- looks and acts just like a built-in nav system. The Spotify app interface is also very nice. Two things I don't love are the radio and using the SD card to listen to my music collection. I can't seem to figure out how to get this unit to be able to display the song information like artist and title from a song on an SD card. I have triple-checked the connection between the radio and the vehicle's (Honda Element) antenna, but I still get terrible reception even with very local stations. When the radio does work, it does not display artist and track info like you see on modern car stereos, which seems like a pretty glaring omission in this day and age. Finally, the unit does tend to reboot randomly and if your phone is connected via USB when that happens, CarPlay won't work on the reboot. For proper CarPlay operation, the unit must be fully booted up before you connect your phone via USB. When the random reboots occur while driving I have to pull over and actually turn the car off and back on to regain my CarPlay connection. I can't figure out how to cold boot it while the car is in operation. I have also scoured the settings to find info on possibly updating the firmware but that doesn't seem to be an option- so I guess I am stuck with the idiosyncrasies.

Good quality
This stereo is extremely nice. So far it’s got all the goodies CarPlay is solid I love the volume knob. Installation is a breeze you can’t go wrong for the price!

Low Quality
I didn’t expect something super fancy for the price, but I’ve run into several issues. First, it didn’t fit well into my vehicle using a standard size double DIN kit. Not sure if it is an issue with this radio having non standard screw holes or my vehicle just to being compatible with the kit. However, regardless of that, I took it on a short trip after installing it (installing it as best I could). I hooked it to the Apple CarPlay and called my wife. She could barely hear me. I was not using an external mic, just using the one built into the face of the radio. I could hear her just fine. The color on the screen was also washed out as some people had said. After getting to the store where I was going and cutting it off then back on, the screen froze with a message telling me to connect my phone (that was already connected). The message would not go away, the screen was frozen, and none of the physical buttons or buttons on the touch screen would unfreeze it. The only way to get it to unfreeze was turning the car off and back on. The message initially came up, but the screen was no longer frozen, and I could click off of it.Long story short, I would not really recommend this. I guess for the price, it’s not horrible. I also did not use an external microphone either to try to improve the sound quality. I never got to hooking up the backup camera as I’d already had the other issues.
