Takes away the problem of buying push on gas canisters , I found it difficult to source threaded butane gas canisters, now this attachment takes away confusion.

I bought this to avoid having several types of butane gas cans in my emergency stock. This adaptor allow me to major on one connector type for several different gas brands. Bought to facilitate cooking, lighting and heating in a dire emergency - hopefully I will never have to use these except for camping and other outdoor activities.

Like the product pictures show, this little device converts those gas canisters that look like an aerosol tin to having the standard screw thread tops that many stoves use.Works well too, but use in ventilated area of course as you might get a small hiss as you attach it, but doesn't that nearly always happen? Might just be me....What this device means is I can effectively only buy the canister/can style gas that fit some stoves I have here, and then use this adapter for the stoves that require the screw thread attachment. How handy is that?Overall quality is pretty good, though the outer orange fitting knob looks a bit plasticky. It does work fine in that you shove it on top of the gas can and twist the knob. It then locks itself on top, meaning you then screw the required attachment to the top of it. It's actually easier done that said!Overall happy with this one, it's in the packaging with one of the stoves that will use it on our camping trips already.

This handy device allows you to use the aerosol-like gas cans (like the Campinggaz CP 250) normally used in things like the Bistro 2 with the screw-on type devices.It worked nicely out the box. You simply push it onto a can (taking care to line it up withthe cut out on the collar of the can) and then twist it to lock it in place. You can then screw on your other device (a Fire Maple Polaris stove in my case) and use it as you normall would. It appears to fit tightly and has no leakage.Very handy, if like me, you have a bunch of the "aerosol" type cans laying around, bought something with a different connector and would rather not have to rebuy gas.

Simple device and a must have to use both type of gas containers.No leakages, fits well and feels good quality!

Looks and feels well made. However when I attached the adapter to a Campinggaz canister the sound of escaping gas was obvious. After trying another canister with the same result I returned for a refund.I'll try a different brand in the hope I canfind one that works.
