York Notes Advanced Othello - Digital Ed

I was a high school teacher English Literature teacher in the United kingdom. Currently I live in the USA and have had 3 children in high school here. All of the York Notes series are invaluable for high school students in the USA who study a Shakespeare play even though the series is designed for students in the British Educational system. The analysis of the play is insightful and, for so short a book, quite deep. Real value for money especially if purchased second-hand.

For anyone seriously studying drama or Shakespeare, York Notes Advanced are vital. These are very thorough and offer insights to help better understand the play. Various critical perspectives are also included.

GCSE

I am fed up with the extremely poor quality of print in all the York Notes I have purchased recently. The text is blurred and very difficult to read. It’s happened several times, clearly the printer used has now changed and production is far inferior to ones I bought a while ago. Otherwise these guides are invaluable, if you can read them. They are expensive so it’s really infuriating.

I bought this for my sister to help her with her GCSEs and she says it has been an invaluable resource. I think it has really helped her and that she is not just saying this for the sake of it. I've had a look myself and while it is not quite how I remember my last York Notes book, I think it looked really informative and well laid out.
