I like these a lot. Very versatile to dress cables and to keep cables wrapped in my bag. I liked them so much, that I bought them again.

Sturdy / stretchy, if you pull enough slack, the magnets will secure pliable, lightweight cables (think laptop power cords, USB, headphones) quite well. The silicone grips the cable jacket and does not slip if wrapped snugly enough. There is a trick to figuring out how many times to wrap and how firmly to stretch to make the final result secure, but I would prefer to velcro ties for many applications. In truth the wrapped silicone grips to itself, so the magnet contributes less than you might think. Would not recommend for very tick or long cable, because fewer wraps around will leave you more dependent on the magnets alone. Best is preventing clutter in an otherwise enclosed space like a bag pocket or small accessory zip bag. Haven't packed a bunch together, so can't comment on whether jostling magnets around near each other might break one or more free, but have yet to see this. The disc magnets are not terribly bulky, but bear in mind that there is some risk in placing strong magnets next to some electronics. Pretty study so far, but early days.

These are great for any use around the house. They are flexible, durable and we’re prefect for our needs. We bought them to hang a banner on a fence but found so many other useful things for them!

Magnets come out of the holder making them useless as ties. So disappointed. Second type that I’ve bought. The first set from a different supplier were way better and I’m still using them. The quality of these ties is very poor. Would not recommmend.

The magnets won’t hold if there’s any pressure on the silicone ties. This has to exactly fit what you want it to hold. Any amount of stretching and the magnets let go.

These are great to keep around the house. All those chords behind the TV? Handled. Need to manage all those charging chord by your bed? No problem. Great grip. We will always have a few of these handy.
