I haven't set it up yet but it appears to be made of heavy duty material.

Don't buy
Had to change the review since what was happening was it leaked at the valve fitting like the only other reviewer. Always looses air.Used this platform as a low to water launch for kayaks off my back deck. Hard as the rest of my deck upon full inflation to 10 PSI with provided pump. Amazing. Only drawback is having to uncouple from its mooring to pump back up once a month or so. Really amazing product though.

Don't buy this!
Valve was not sealed properly, leaked air first use. It has one job, to hold air.
