I give these people a star for deceiving the consumer by putting in their description that it is thread to work with needles by hand, just for that they receive a star for deceiving buyers, now I am going to describe the thread, the thread is thin, it is very strong and looks at first glance of very good quality but this thread is absolutely made to use by machine not to use it by hand, you must be more careful with the description for me if I felt stolen and cheated with what I received I hope they change the description

Two different machines, different material, and different size needles... Every time results in about a half finished product and then this. (see photos) I am sewing a thicker material, however use the same spec T70/69/210/3PLY sewing thread of another brand and never have issue. Do not purchase this brand.

I bought this thread to sew a leather bag with on my Janome sewing machine. The spool is the really large size so it does not fit on the machine spool holder but that's okay, because you can just put the spool in a coffee mug to the right of your machine as long as you are careful not to let it get tangled as you sew. ANYWAYS, this thread is thick and strong, but not too thick to use on a sewing machine. I feel like the bag I am making is sturdier thanks to this thread. It also has a nice shiny color. I will buy again for my next leather project and recommend it to anyone looking for something heavier without being too heavy for your at home sewing machine.

I use this thread for my upholstery work. I'm sewing with an old Sears Kenmore sewing machine with an upholstery needle. The thread is so strong that I can't break it by hand and I have trouble getting my seam ripper to cut it. I have had problems with some thread that wants to unravel and break, but this thread is so smooth and well-made that is doesn't give me any trouble. I'm glad Amazon keeps track of your old orders so I can make sure I get the same thread the next time I need a different color.

The color I needed was a good match, but unfortunately as others have noted, it does fray & shred too easily & frequently. I did need it to finish an important project for a neighbor, as I had run out of Coats & Clark outdoor thread & could not find the correct color again locally. I did manage to make it work, but it was frustrating that it shredded so easily & I had to keep cutting & re-threading it. It's a good thing I was at the end of the project, as it would have been almost impossible to use if I'd had to use this for the very lengthy, complicated project I was working on, which was making several new boat chair cushion covers out of marine vinyl.

So, I bought this thread because I like to make wigs every once in a while and I was looking for a new nylon (or satin) thread. This thread is AMAZING. It is soooo strong, while also gliding smooth and seamlessly. I can't even fully express how impressed I am with this thread. It's that good. I've also used it to repair other items of clothing and even a busted seam on my samsonite suitcase. I love it.

Holy bananas, this is sturdy and attractive thread!! I use it successfully in my Brother Project Runway machine  Brother XR9500PRW Project Runway Limited Edition Sewing Machine with 100 Built-in Stitches and Quilting Table . I've attached some photos of what this thread looks like sewing leather with a 4 or 4.5 mm stitch length.Expect that you may have trouble getting used to this at first. I cursed a lot, and read up on thread tension, and finally got a beautiful and strong stitch. Basically if the thread is bunching in back, it's a tension issue - it's not the thread. Absolutely make sure you use an appropriate needle - I'm using Schmetz leather needles from Amazon  Leather Machine Needles-Size 16/100 5/Pkg . And read your sewing machine manual again unless you are a professional tailor or seamstress - I sew confidently, but apparently I was sewing confidently and wrong (with great results, honestly) and could get away with it with lighter fabrics. You absolutely need to follow every single threading step to the "t" to get a heavy thread like this to cooperate.I'm docking a star because I found a knot in the thread - that would have been a nightmare if it had run through my machine.

I tried this thread upon a recommendation from someone in my purse making group and I am very happy. I sew on a model 241-12 Singer industrial machine and a lot of my purses are made with leather and/or vinyl. This thread sews perfectly in my machine with no skipping and the top stitching is wonderful. VERY good thread.

Les couleurs sont fade par rapport à ce que l'ont voit à l'écran. Le pire est l'emballage, une enveloppe pour 3 bobines, sans protection. Une reçue est briser et c'est le client qui paye pour la retourner même si au retour on m'a dit que les frais était couvert.

When looking at a picture one isn't really sure if the shade is correct. In this case l was correct. I plan to order more colours in the future.
