Kombu forMiso Soup
Korean Wild Kombu - I bought it to use in Miso Soup. It is adequate size, smells like Kombu. It is easy to use, texture is what you would except, value for money, and my soup tastes great.

Great flavor
There is quite a bit here. I have used it in dashi and kimchi and it has worked beautifully. Great flavor and texture in the broth and thickened the brine nicely in the kimchi.

This brand of Konbu
It’s good for making your soup base, but you can’t eat it, it remains hard

Tasted great, easy to use.
These came in a vacuum sealed package that can be resealed like a ziplock. Easy to use and tasted great for a variety of recipes. We will definitely purchase again.

This Kombu is What You Need if You Need it in Full Sheets
I needed sheets of kombu to soak and wrap around halibut filets. These worked perfectly as they are hand harvested and left in full size sheets rather than small strips or pulverized. Be careful when you order to be sure to get the size/shape you need. Just a few minutes to soak in water and they were flexible enough to securely wrap the fish for baking.

Packaging was not sealed
The bag holding the kelp was not sealed and it was open to air. I needed this today so I'm going to give it a try but it's frustrating.
