Easy peasy! I say "buy it".
I have tried other doorbells that do not require wiring. This one works beautifully. Multiple bell choices and better yet, volume control. Never liked a bell that upset the dogs. This one gives you options and is a no brainer to put up. Enjoy!!!!

Simple, cheap and works well.
I needed a doorbell for my condo that didn't have to be plugged in. I was impressed at the number of ringtones, including three Christmas choices. The signal gets through a metal door without problem.

Want silent mode? There's a quick and easy fix for that.
I bought this wireless doorbell because it's completely battery powered and has a super bright LED flash. However, I also wanted a silent mode (full disclosure: I'm using this in my cubicle at work so people can get my attention since I wear headphones and have my back to the room). This does not have a mute or silent mode out of the box, but it's quick and easy to change that.Remove the batteries, unscrew the four screws, and open it up. The speaker hooks into a little connector. Just pull that out, reassemble, and you have a silent doorbell! Best of all: If you ever wanted to enable the speaker again down the road, all you need to do is open it up again and pop the connector back into place. Simple. I expected to need to clip wires and destroy this thing to make it silent, but happily I don't have to.
