the product is of good quality, normal salt content, no msg, same smell and taste as of real oyster sauce. darker color which also adds flavor to the food. However the packaging was poor and the sauce was leaking when received. This needs to improve.

I usually buy lee kum kee oyster sauce but it's been unavailable for sometime, so I decided to take a gamble and bought this one. Even though this is a vegetarian oyster sauce which doesn't have any actual oyster, I was surprised at how well it mimics the actual thing! It has the exact same umami aroma profile as the real thing and is virtually indistinguishable in terms of smell and appearance but it tastes like sweet soy sauce. This sauce is used mostly for the aroma, and it does the job admirably well. The glass bottle also looks really nice. I will definitely recommend it!

Simply amazing and exquisitely crafted product of which I have become a huge fan, buying this one on a regular basis. This item, along with the famed light Soy sauce from Kikkoman, are permanent feature in my pantry

I was quite sceptical, since this is my first time using oyster sauce and Kikkomen did not disappoint! Just a tablespoon adds an extra oomph to my fried rice and other Indo Chinese dishes. Was searching for a Jain friendly version and I am so glad they came up with this product. The packing was also done meticulously. Will definitely reorder, once this bottle is over. Tip: If this is your first time using this, start with using very little (probably a teaspoon), then use more according to what suits your palate - since a few users seem to struggle with the salt content. Now, I am waiting for Kikkomen to also release their own version of dark soy sauce.

Totally worth it.. But it needs to be handles with care as it is made if glass bottle and leak can occur if not transported carefully

The most horrible "hybrid designed" packing among Amazon sellers. Just pathetic shame to Amazon quality sellers! Wrapping a premium imported food product in a worst plastic packaging. Shows the cheapness in customer service!

Taste ok but being vegetarian i don't like smell like beef with soy sauce it makes complete. First time using oyster not so great.
