Great as a strengthener for high porosity hair!
I have been using this pack for about 8 months. I was interested in the benefits of henna for repairing the gaps in the hair cuticle, but I really love the additional herbal powders added. It does tint my greys a golden hue which i love as my hair already has reddish tones naturally. For those who say it's drying and makes the hair brittle, you need to mix this with a few tablespoons of olive oil or jojoba oil and I also add rhassoul clay for its conditioning properties. That addition of oils will keep the treatment from seeming too drying, but you must deep condition or at least apply a good conditioner after this. I wash my hair first with black soap, then I apply this mixture (pudding consistency) from root to ends, cover with 2 plastic bags and sit under my heat cap for an hour. Sometimes I keep it in overnight. I do this once a month. My hair has stopped breaking, the frizz is almost completely gone, I'm retaining my length, it's shiny and it feels strong but not hard. Very soft, but not weak. I also use good old fashioned hair grease on my scalp and hair shaft then I seal all that in with homemade flaxseed gel, focusing on my ends. Then I put my hair up and tuck my ends away. I will keep buying this as long as it's available! You just have to know how to best use it for you. I don't follow the package directions because they don't make sense for my hair type.

I did not know what I was expecting, but hereās what I did
I need to add a little bit more extras, But Iām going to do this again, here was my first runā¦..(Iām only giving it 4 stars because of the dryness otherwise I would give it 5)I didnāt know what I was expecting, but hereās what happened and what I did!I followed the directions as stated on the package. Then, after everything I read, I felt it might be better to add a little bit more protection. So I added the following:1 pac of sheās Moisture intense hydration treatment 2oz.5 Tbs of Extra-virgin olive oil (should have put more)2 Tbs and 1 Tsp of Rosa Mary Oil (I should have done maybe 5 Tbs. ( my hair comes to my mid shoulder blades)Then 3Tbs of MB GBHP (tea) with about 1/3 to a 1/2 cupās of water.Mixed it like a pudding consistency. Then I washed my hair with my, Moerie hair growing shampoo, (Moisturizering one), rinsed it all clear, then squeezed out my hair, shook it, Towel dried just a little, not like I normally do to where it feels dry.Started from the bottom worked my way up.Seriously, massaged my head to make sure everything hit my scalp. I was on a mission!Tried to brush it to put it in the banana clip but that wasnāt happening. (Not in this life time!) then just gave up, Bunched it together the best I could bunched it up in banana Clip and bounced my happy a** out of the shower.Tossed a towel around my neck to catch whatever was dripping if any. Nothing much.Did what I needed to do to kept it in my hair for 4 hours, no plastic bag.(tossed Momās 1960 attachable hairdryer that you can travel with in the trash years ago. You (You have to be nuts to keep that crap!! Ugg!)My hair was so hard that I started getting scared that maybe my shafts were going to break off.As I was a cosmetologist 20 years ago and I know a lot has changed because Iām looking to get back into it. I miss it! So much new stuff! After rinsing out my hair, I didnāt feel comfortable with it being so incredibly dry and brittle that I turned around and immediately put āKarseel Mica Power Collagen repairā in it. Soothed it out, brushed very carefully to NOT pull anymore hair out!! (I did good)Iāve been fighting this hair loss battle for about 2 years now. Wish I wouldāve started way earlier, the hair loss never stopped after my last child who is now in college. It just happen to get worse with in the last 2 years.I then banana clipped my hair up with the Collagen repair in my hair over night washed it out the next day, All I can say is: Oh my, my,I know in my heart this canāt be it, but it was only a 2 day process this doesnāt happen this fast. However my husband who notices NOTHING!!! Looked at me then said āOMG. Your hair?āā¦ā¦ā¦. I looked at him, he said itās growing OMGā¦.. Iām so excited for you it looks great! Whatever youāre doing keep it up.About 4 hours later my Daughter and I were walking over to the liquor store and sheās a bit taller than I am. Iām 5ā6 and sheās 5ā7.5 and and still growing š she said āOMG Mom your hair! OMG itās growing OMG Iām so excitedā¦. Can you see it?My peeps that felt amazing. Not just amazing that my hair was/is now growing again, but it was amazing that the one person who normally sees nothing was actually the first one to see it and say something.Sorry that kind of blows me away, my husbands donāt notice things like that. So with me saying that I know itās growing and it feels great! However, please understand that this has been a long treatment that is taken steadily 6 months to a year before other people have noticed. 6 months may seem long but just plow through and you will see results. However, for the mixture on your hair length, I would stay with the same amount of powder or tea thatās on the directions. Then I would add a little bit more rosemary and olive oil to give a little bit more moisture to the hair, while youāre going through the conditioning treatment with the tea. Will I buy this again? Iām not really sure however after doing my hair, I happen to dye my hair a week before I use the tea treatment after the tea treatment and my gray growth from using the tea has been absolutely incredible to where I have to redo my hair again. iIās only been 2 weeks. I have Grays in the front of my head which I never do as I always what them then and dye before they hit the 1/4 stage maybe less. Now I have fully visible long grays that I have to get my hair redone now. Unfortunately I donāt know if it was the mixture that got my hair growing as long as it did within a two week span or it was a combined sense of everything. What I want to say is, if youāre going to try the tea treatment be very prepared for your hair to feel incredibly dry during the process but once you get through it, I think this is the softest and manageable my hairās ever been.I have kinky curly hair, Iām Syrian. It has straightened the curls quite a bit, however thatās okay as long at this hair loss BS ends!! Iām not a guy! I can say this for sure because very little hair came out on the brush and that was wonderful. However, itās well worth it.Good luck on your decision. And definitely put the extra blends of olive oil and rosemary in with some kind of mask conditioner that does amazing for your hair.Thatās the only thing that scares me about this product is the fact that the tea gets so hard in your hair. It says itās tightening your hair shafts on your scalp, that makes me think or feel that my hair shafts may break off if I twist may hair a certain way. When you go to rinse out your hair, you need to be very careful with it and just let the water take it down. You Also really need to watch how it sits on your hair and how long, DO NOT pass the 4 hour mark.I hope this helps.P.S. the smell is not as bad as everyoneās making it out to be. Just a side note. Iām guessing this generation has never experienced perms! šš¤£š
