Fun and looks great!
I like coloring regular (paper) mandalas, so when birds started killing themselves on my window and I needed some cling film art to put on the glass, this kit caught my eye. And I'm very pleased!! I'd buy these again in a moment.Keep in mind you don't have to use all the colors. The pink & purple are too loud for me so to get enough different colors I did some custom blends for example putting some pink, blue & yellow into a puddle of green made it browner, a more natural green that matched my decor better than the mint green it started out as. Or mixing green and blue 50:50 makes aqua. A dash of pink in the yellow makes it a more mellow, rich golden shade. I painted from those puddles using a toothpick because I don't have any paint brushes but I suspect you'd want a very small, short, stiff brush with a point. And if you want to do monochromatic and just leave some parts of the pattern empty for contrast, that looks good too! I filled mine in fully for maximum bird safety but if you are just decorating, mm, monochromatic is a lot more tasteful. I should have taken a pic of that one when I had it all blue, before I filled it the rest of the way in, sorry. But yeah- don't get turned off just because the kit has a color you dislike. There's plenty of "ink" to color every mandala with the same color or waste a bunch trying custom blends or whatever. I even washed one off and redid it and still haven't used up any of my "ink" bottles.By the way I have very fragile health and trust me this stuff is fully non-irritating. It seems to be just white glue with dye mixed in. ZERO FUMES. The vinyl smelled a bit when I first unsealed it but after leaving it an hour it was odorless. So feel confident this is safe for even children and delicate adults or if you have birds in the home or whatever. I was worried it might be stinky like nail polish or something so I was relieved. If you want to make it extra nice here are some things I learned doing my kit. The colors look way different before vs after the glue dries so doodle on the edges of a pane or two and let it dry to get an idea what the colors look like before doing the mandalas. And peel it & hold it up to light to see how pale a thin layer looks, how dark a thick one, so you know what you want to aim for. The glue was too runny in my kit (sounds like they vary a lot) so I had to learn to hold the tubes so they were almost on their side, because tipping it too much made glue drip out too thickly. So doodling on scrap awhile lets you get a technique figured out for your preferences & your glue viscosity.Another tip is, white spaces where you didn't quite color to the line really stand out with the sun shining through, so err on the side of overflowing your lines rather than falling shy. And keep a toothpick on hand to drag the glue fully into the tight corners where the nozzle didn't fit. I found it very efficient on some borders that are essentially rows of squares or triangles, to put dots in the middle boom boom all the way around, then around again with the toothpick pulling glue into the corners. It's most fun when you get a rhythm going like that! You can soak these and rub them a bit with a paper towel and get most of the glue off to start fresh if need be. I didn't find the black lines wore off at all when I did that, seems very sturdy.

Great for dementia person if markers are used
Fun, great product! I originally bought a set to do during a Girls' Night with my elderly Mom. I did one with the paint to practice before offering it to Mom. Although the paint was okay for me, an older artist would have difficulty. Plus, limited color choices and not too vivid. I followed the suggestion of a previous reviewer and got a set if Sharpies. More color options, no mess, no waiting to dry. Mom LOVES these. To find something for a dementia person is beyond wonderful. Mom colors these, is so proud of herself, hangs them all over, and also gifts them to loved ones. Its awesome. I have re-ordered several times (Mom says, "get me more" so I do). I tried similar window clings for her and the vinyl is not such good quality. I highly recommend.

Relaxing and fun
I would recommend this product for a relaxing and fun experience. If you like adult coloring, this could be for you!PackagingThe box is fairly flimsy so it arrived a bit mangled but no product damage.ContentsThe colors are very light (unlike what appears on the box). The purple was the biggest disappointment as it was more of a "pink". The shades of color were also not what was advertised.I felt like only two of the designs were display worthy.UsingI highly suggest grabbing a few toothpicks and a paper towel. This will help with the tight corners and overspill. The raised outline is helpful but only for a thin layer of cling paint. The applicators will clog. You can use the toothpicks to press the stuck paint back in or gently apply pressure to push it out but you may lose valuable paint. You can also use the toothpick to pop any bubbles that appear. This is a very relaxing! I enjoyed doing this activity in short sprints throughout the day or spending a day listening to music and coloring. With the limited colors you might try blending (as I did). For me, this failed. Instead, of becoming a new color it pushed the other color aside (creating a swirl effect which I encouraged with a toothpick). You can also try layering (waiting for one color to dry) but I didn't like the result of this either. Keep in mind the paint is like a liquid plastic.I might try photocopying and planning out my color placement next time.Window applicationThe colors when still on cling look more vibrant, be prepared for this to look much duller on your window. I also struggled to get them to stick to the window even after the suggestion of applying a bit of water. They ended up coming off within a day. I ended up using a small piece of transparent tape on the designs I loved. The price is right! For what was provided, it came in at a little over $1 a cling which isn't terrible. I wouldn't pay much more that this product.

I LOVE making these! They turn out beautiful.
I loved these! Very relaxing and made nice gifts for a few people in my life. I even kept one for myself. I had zero problem with the paints, or the clinginess. It’s not a good project for kids because the paint comes out super fast, and it’s sticky. But if you can handleIt, it’s actually easy. I’m guessing markers might work but not sure. I’m ordering more.

Loved painting these
Loved doing these with the kids over Christmas break. Easy and even the 4yo’s “glass” turned out beautifully when the colors mixed. Relaxing for me and the big kids to do when we could take our time. Be careful to make sure the painting are even and flat while drying though. One of ours was on a slant and became glued the the top of the shelf we had it drying on. Ordered a second set already! Only wish there was more paint included or that could be purchased.
