Bought this for our Belgian Malinois who lives for a ball reward during obedience training. The solid rubber is tough, the rope is sturdy, and it’s holding up well to intense fetch and tug sessions. Heavy enough for powerful dogs, but not a chew toy—Perfect for high-drive, ball-obsessed pups. Large was the perfect size for our pup, not too big and not too small. Video is from his “unboxing.”

Best tug ball I’ve had. I tried the Cherry Bomb from SodaPup which are nice but this one lasts longer. All tug balls have the same problem. Knots come un-tied after extensive use. That just comes with the territory, big deal. The original knots on these K-9 Ops have lasted the longest before having to re-tie them. Toys and tugs are an expendable item. These dogs destroy everything eventually. This one has lasted about 6 months so far. This review is coming from a real life K-9 handler.

Ball lasted for a long time which was surprising considering I have two Malinois that go through dog toys daily. The rope lasted two or three days.

Love this for my K9. The rope doesn’t last for a rough chewer but the ball is the best!

Great toy. My shepherd loves it. Tires him out from exercise. However, just be careful if you leave it out a lot because my dog chews the knott off and the ball gets loose. If you’re not using it make sure you put it somewhere your dog can’t reach it

I have purchased 2 of these balls, because my lab loved it so much. The ball itself is very durable and easy to throw. The only downside is that he chews the knot as he returns with the ball. The sealing rubber comes off. The knots become untied. The knots can be retied but don’t stay tied. The lab is not aloud to play independently with the ball. Without the knots, the ball can’t be thrown. Disappointing!

My 55lbs American Bully plays rough and now he’s becoming a working dog. I needed the right ball that was durable but fit his relatively small mouth (compared to most working breeds). This ball is SOLID, has great weight, the rope is the perfect length, knots seem like they will hold up for a very long time. It has chipped but that was my own fault for letting my dog steal it while we were in the car. Very small piece but again the ball is solid so it’s just an aesthetic flaw. Shows a lot of bite marks and has basically no give. Great for heavy mouths and destructive dogs so it will last between the reward and the take away. Easy to clean also!
