Polo Green is an absolute legend in the fragrance world and it’s easy to see why. Polo Green is basically masculinity in a bottle. It’s a classic scent that makes one think of dad coming in from chopping wood on a cold, snowy day with a tobacco pipe hanging out of his mouth. He comes in and places a big, strong hand on your shoulder as you play. All is right. Polo Green hits right away with tobacco. Leather and patchouli come on a few minutes later and some pine comes in on the dry down. It’s a definite cool-weather fragrance that seems especially appropriate for Christmas time. One could wear it year round, but its notes definitely lend to cold weather. It’s my go-to from October-February. Polo Green isn’t a flashy fragrance. It wears its heart on its sleeve and it’s unapologetic in its masculinity. This fragrance has been around since 1978 for a reason— it’s just a solid, straight down the middle classic. It won’t be for everyone. Those who don’t enjoy tobacco scents won’t enjoy this one. It’s definitely different from most modern fragrances. In the best possible way. It’s not cheap. By all accounts, this isn’t a budget fragrance. But a little goes a long way. And 3-4 sprays will have you evoking the energy of a classic man’s man. If you’re looking for something classic and manly, go Polo Green! Red and Blue have their strengths too, but Green remains my personal champion among Polo’s line.

So I've been using Polo green for about a 5 years, I've been familiar with it since I was a kid though, it was a regular in my dads collection and I'm sad to say I wasnt a fan of it growing up but my opinion on it has changed dramatically. Pine, leather and tobacco, those are the main things you smell, there's no sweet notes like most mens fragrances have these days, Polo green is a mens fragrance meant for guys who want to smell manly. Polo green smells like a leather jacket wearing, cigarette smoking lumberjack thats come in from working the yard all day in the winter cold. Its a bold power fragrance through and through. Its been popular since the late 70s for a reason. I highly recommend it. 5 out of 5

My husband’s FAVORITE! I get him 2 bottles a year and he is so happy. He likes the longevity of the scent, which is very good. A the fact that he can keep it with him any where and don’t have to worry about it leaking out. I try to get it when it is on sale, but if I can’t oh well it’s his favorite.

Still the same great scent as always. I just recently got back into the polo sent, and I am liking it. Although the price range has gone up considerably in 30 years. It’s still smells the same and looks the same. A good masculine scent for those who like it.

Bought this for my son. He was expecting it to smell like the older version that we had gotten a couple years ago was kind of not so much the same but still smelled great. Still uses it and it lasts mostly all day and it’s a good quality, just a little different from the old version.
