Great flavor! First time making UBE cupcakes from scratch. Used this product for the Halaya and flavor of the batter and whipped cream. Alcohol flavor is strong so maybe next time I’ll add a little less to the whipped cream. It was fine in the Halaya and batter. I definitely recommend it, love the fact that it has no dyes. I’ll definitely be using this product in the future. 💜

Item arrived in pristine condition, it was boxed up, no leaks, seal intact. I've been using Halo Pantry for years for my business and their natural flavoring has been customer's favs! The Fuji Apple is one of the newest in their collection and it's every bit as close to the sweetness and taste of the actual thing. From the instructions, you can decide how much flavoring to put in your recipe and for my buttercreams it's the perfect size. Will buy more again!

This smells just like Ube and tastes great. My only complaint is the lack of color which has pros and cons. I mainly use it to make pretty lattes and purple cold foam but I find myself having to add a tiny bit of purple food coloring along with it to make it look like it is ube flavoring. But overall, I would totally recommend

This is exactly Ube flavor. And as a Filipina I would know since I grew up eating this stuff! I honestly find a lot of Ube treats in the U.S. doesn’t really have a strong Ube flavor as I grew up knowing it to be. But buyer beware! This could get tipsy if you don’t cook off the alcohol! I learned that the hard way trying to make ube ice cream with this (mind you, I’m very sensitive to alcohol so even a little amount I will notice an effect). I also used it to make my own perfumes. Such a lovely flavor and scent.

Typical flavoring essences/extracts have lots of sus chemicals in them (especially the Asian ones, for some reason), so I was glad to find these natural ones. I was so hopeful about them, but unfortunately the flavor is weak and didn't do much for my final product, even though I tasted and added more before baking. It just never quite got to where I wanted it, and that was a bummer. I guess we really do have to get the chemical ones if we want the flavor we're looking for. 😓

Halo Pantry’s all natural flavoring is an essential part of my baking and cooking. I have tried many of the flavors, including Ube, strawberry, pandan, sweet corn, vanilla etc. The milk tea has a brown sugar flavor that compliments almost every cake and cookie recipe I make. It gives my baking much more complexity. I would highly recommend this flavoring to anybody.

This was an extremely disappointing purchase for me. Not only was the extract colorless, (it should be green, as the natural leaves are) it practically tasted like nothing. A recipe I used called for 1/8th of a teaspoon, and I ended up using 1/2 of one to try and add a bit more flavor to it. Unfortunately it left the final product extremely underwhelming and left much to desire. If you want real pandan extract/flavoring, just go to your local asian supermarkets. This online stuff's not worth your trouble.
