I put it on the counter at work, and it got everyone who works with me. Then we sent it with a customer to their business and heard all the stories about how it got everyone there, then they passed it on to the next group of victims. This has brought many people a lot of amusement. I hope it's still going, just my little seed of harmless chaos I sent out in the world. I'm glad I bought it :)

Not bad for the price, I would say it definitely did the job by the scream.

Initial impression of the P'ARNIXS Rubber Spider Prank Box' was good. The box is clean with no excess glue dried around the joints. The sides and corners are smooth and tight. But the spider did not 'jump out' when the box was opened. Turned out that the rod that makes the spider 'jump' wasn't attached. I didn't expect that the prank would need to be put together but was able to get the box positioned to redrill the hole and glue the rod into place. The next day I took the box to town and had a lot of fun. (It might be interesting to note that although everyone who opened the box was surprised to different degrees nobody got mad.) Five stars for the prank minus one star for the quality control.

Bought this as a prank for the office. First impressions were not great. The box lid is loose and sloppy to the point that if tipped the lip will simply fall right off. The string and mechanism to pull the spider out of the box was designed well, but poorly, cheaply done. With the length of string that came with the box, the spider does not begin to come up until the lid is over half way off, by then you see the prank and its more of a gag than a scare. I have already replaced the string with a shorter thicker string so the spider pops up as the box is opening instead.Overall good idea, but cheaply made. I dont expect it to last but it will be a funny joke once in a while.

The media could not be loaded. Okay maybe it didn’t catch him by surprise but everyone loved the suspense. Every kid stole it afterwards to try and scare one another. It was super funny

Sturdy build for the price, may need adjustment. Works well, but may need slight adjustment before use. Pretty scarry and fun to watch friends and family jump when they see the spider!
