Perfect replacement for my sons 2009 mini One, easy to fit and excellent quality for the price

As a DIYer I bought these to make a budget Parcel Shelf. These are good quality and easy to fit.

Does the job.

Instead of using a plastic stopper like the OEM used, these have just been knotted and a piece of heat shrink tubing covers the knot.It is very disappointing

My parcel shelf always pops off and comes loose, when the boot is open, because the strings aren't long enough. I bought this so I could have longer strings, allowing the shelf to stay in place. I had to cut the original strings off, as they couldn't thread through the hole. When I put these on, the small circle which goes into the rubber ball, cannot tolerate any weight and pops out, causing that and the ball to fall into the boot and the string is left on its own, and the parcel shelf falls down. So now I'm left without a lifting shelf because this is rubbish and I had to cut out the original string

Fitted my VW Polo boot cover well and this joined with some elastic string means I never have to bend awkwardly to fit my shopping in my car. Many thanks

But fiddly to put in but has done what I wanted it to do. I have a parcel shelf that isn’t half hanging down now!
