Love Star Trek movies well worth the money

The final if the original 6 films with the original series cast. Nicholas Meyer returns from his triumphant turns on Star trek 2 and 4 for the original cast swan song. The plot concerns a thinly veiled allegory of the iron curtain coming down in space with a tentative peace between the federation and long-time enemies the Klingons. Interwoven with the main plot is a whodunnit and revenge story with Christopher Plumber chewing the scenery as Kirk's nemesis General Chang. The effects showcase some of cinema's early CGI and some gripping scenes in space produced by Industrial Light and Magic which look stunning even by today's modern standards. A myst have for any self respecting Sci-fi flan or Star trek love it and a great send off for the original film series. A great musical score too!!!

This is brilliant I adore this film after the wrath of khan it’s such a good story and sign off for the cast I wish the soundtrack had been done by james horner but it’s still good4k transfer is brilliant even has cut scenes restored not that much was cut from the undiscovered country it’s a good film

Had this film on blu ray, and decided to get the 4k version. It has the directors cut, with explains one thing about the film, that has always irritated me.Good picture and sound too.

I purchased this to complete my 4K upgrade of the original Star Trek cast movies. The picture and sound upgrades from the 1080p Blu-ray makes this well worth the spend. It’s the closest yet to having the actual film strip in your home, highly recommended.

Well fun film and in 4k looks fantastic and is great to go with collection. Can't complain got what I purchased and no hassle at all and finally my 4k collection till tng movies come is complete.

The final proper star trek film is also one of the very best.It's classic ST in every way.PQ and hdr are outstanding.A film for everyone and not just ST fans.
