These bags are super thick! They are significantly thicker than the 7mm ones I normally use. It's nice that you can make the bottom fold out flat. It's way easier to fill the bags this way. They stay put and stand up straight. They also have a zip lock on the top, which is and excellent feature. They are very stiff, so they are a little bit harder to handle in my opinion, especially the smaller bags. This doesn't seem to be a problem with the larger ones though. I think I might prefer something ever so slightly thinner for the smaller bags, just so it's easier to fill. But, these bags will definitely give you piece of mind. They feel impossible to penetrate, so you don't have to worry about accidentally puncturing them. So, even though they are a bit stiff, I'd still purchase them again, especially the larger sizes. They seem to be of great quality.

High quality bags for storage and they come with oxygen absorbers. These should do well long term. Good variety of sizes for whatever you need. I will continue to purchase as needed.

These are great bags the 5 gallons are not really needed that because breaking the seal when needing a small amount. There easy to seal with a flat iron. Also easy to write on with a black permanent marker. I think there perfect.

I bought these mylar bags for preparation for emergencies and when TSHTF. They increase shelf life of dry goods to over 20yrs. They are the thickest ones I could find. The thicker, the better. Not happy they're made in China, but couldn't find thick ones made in the US. Love the 3 different sizes. 1qt, 1gal, 5gal. And happy it comes with oxygen absorbers. I heat sealed the bags with a clothing iron. You don't need to buy any fancy equipment. Would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants/needs to prepare.

We used the 5 gallon bag inside a 5 gallon bucket, it fit perfectly. We put 17#'s of dry rice in it and sealed it up with oxygen absorbers in the bag as well, for long term storage. We will do the same with powdered milk and other long term storage foods. These bags are perfect!

Love that this includes different sizes, with more of the most used size. The bags are thicker than most, very sturdy. Also includes the Oxygen removers. Note: the o2 removers are not labeled. The 2500 cc's are individually sealed. The 500 cc's are packed 5 to a bag. This is important, as they will expire as soon they are exposed to air. The o2 absorbers are not labeled for strength. go figure. Label them when you receive them.
