Flavor? Why did they ask me in the review if this was flavorful? Hahaha please do not eat this blue Apple it's not made for eating it's made for putting next to the food that you eat so it stays fresh which it does pretty well except for bananas I can't quite figure out how to do the banana thing but it does come with really good instructions if you have a magnifying glass you can read all of the tips and tricks. I'm glad I bought these food does seem to last longer especially in the crisper drawer but I can't shovel my food is a tooth with crisper drawers that I have so the help is limited but it's good. Have a wonderful life.

I have been using the Blue Apples for years and saved hundreds of dollars. I now have six of them scattered throughout my two refrigerators. My produce lasts three times longer than usual and has saved me so much produce that I would have otherwise had to throw away. This stuff is amazing and I've talked so many of my friends and relatives into trying them. It works on ALL my produce including bananas, avocados, lettuce, sugar snap peas, broccoli, EVERYTHING!! It's like magic so I can buy produce when it is on sale and it will last me more than a week. I highly recommend.

Glad I found them. I used to get them locally until the company went out of business. Glad Amazon has them.

Strawberries & blueberries still look fresh a week after being in the refrigerator with these in the bin. I've been using them for years and will continue to do so. A REAL MONEY-SAVER for fresh produce!

These do not seem to last nearly as long in our fruit frig, as other, similar products do. The little apples are somewhat difficult to pry open to replace the freshness packets. Also, the packets fit in so tightly, I find it hard to believe they can be fully effective. Maybe they could be shaped to fit inside the apples better. Love the green idea of these, but feel the design needs some work.

I've been using them for about 2 weeks - so although I can't attest to its longevity yet, I can attest to that they really work!! I like fruits and veggies - but I don't like to eat them every day. As a single person, inevitably, most go bad before I have time to finish them. I heard about this product on a video and thought, what can I lose? I tried them first on my most favorite: bananas. I put the bananas in a covered bowl and put the little 'apple' inside. I was actually able to eat the entire bunch - without having to eat one or two every day! Minimal brown spots on the last one and none on under the peel. I was impressed. Then I tried it in the crisper with fresh vegetables: string beans in this case. After a week, I went for a second serving in the bag. They still were crispy and had a great snap. I was sold! Great investment! Super easy to use; you get two apples and two packets - just put a packet in each apple and snap it shut. I did read in the instructions that you shouldn't leave the 'apples' out in the open, so don't forget to keep the sealable bag that they came in so you can store them to keep them active when not in use.

I must admit at first I thought this was just gonna be one of those "too good to be true" things, but the price was right so I thought I'd give them a try. I've been really pleased with how well they work! My lettuce lasts much longer than it ever has, I've gone back to placing apples, celery, carrots in my fridge and have not needed to throw them away before I've had a chance to eat them :-) These are simple to use, and don't take up any more room than a small apple would (I would not recommend using the packets without the apple, because they may get wet). I also bought the supply of replacement packets, and I get a regular email reminder from BluApple letting me know when it's time to replace them.

I never had good results with fruit preservation. I thought it was just a gimmick. So now you tellthis blue apple will do the trick. I never could prolong the life of a banana. You know blue applesand yellow bananas never got along. It must be the color of their skin. Was i surprised there wereno spots on the inside after more than a week. I also started to wrap each banana with Saran Wrap.So was it the blue apple or the Saran Wrap. I believe with either one the results were enhanced.The moral of the story its not the color of the skin but the result.
