In my opinion, attack of the mutant killer snow monster goons Calvin Hobbs collection book is the best in the world. Read my fabulous report now and read this book to the Ada.
Calvin and Hobbs Is one of my favorite collections because I really get to express my feelings you’re being like happy and yeah and it’s really fun to Calvin and Hobbs because of Calvin‘s expression to Susie Dickens. It’s really funny and also it’s not Dickens. It’s Durans yeah it’s really fun because Hobbs is just like yeah bouncing on Calvin so much and it’s crazy to say that Calvin is there’s a boom boom boom you can go without hearing boom boom boom boom in Calvin‘s house like yeah I really like it so I’ll book you.

I got this, and all the other Calvin + Hobbes books for my dad, as he used to have a lot of them before my ex stepmother took them in their divorce a few years ago. I grew up stealing those books from him to read, and we had a lot of good memories around those books and reading them together. He loved them, and the comics are still as amazing as I remember them being <3

What An Imagination
Calvin's antics would drive you crazy if her was real, but he's great to read & laugh at his imaginary trips.

A Must Buy for all Ages
Why I purchased: This is one of two books that I purchased of Calvin and Hobbes. I remember reading the same Calvin and Hobbes book over and over as a child whenever I stayed at my grandmother's, so as soon as I remembered that childhood memory, I knew I had to buy more. I remember enjoying these comics so much, laughing at jokes I didn't understand at the time, and I knew that I needed to grab hold of more of them, something I could not do at my young age. What I love: I love how timeless and hilarious these jokes are! I didn't understand them when I was younger, and I remember pulling out the dictionary when I didn't know certain words, so I learned a bit for my young age. If you have never heard of these comics, you NEED to get this book! Yes, it's a comic, but to me, it's funnier than the Peanuts. I know lots of people disagree with me, but there's something sentimental and original about these comics. It couldn't hurt to try! Also, this book is cheaper here than in Barnes and Noble, so I totally recommend getting it here. Bill Watterson was a genius at his craft; you won't regret buying this book, especially if it's your first Calvin and Hobbes book. What I don't love: There is nothing that I don't love! Conclusion: If you have a young child starting to read, this is awesome. If you used to read these comics, get them again! It'll be like walking down memory lane; just do it, how could you regret rereading jokes that you probably have forgotten? The jokes are timeless, the vocabulary makes it interesting, and the jokes are hilarious. For new and old readers alike, if you don't own this book, you need to!

9 year old reads
My son who isn't interested in reading actually sits and checks out his Calvin and hobbes book almost every night, travels with them. They are his thing. I remember reading mine over and over and so does my husband. Great to pass these on to our kids. I can't find my Calvin and hobbes books from childhood, only my far side books. Had to buy these new. So happy they are exactly the same as when I was young. Great graphic novels are such a fun thing to share with your kids.

Wonderful
Another wonderful collection, this one from 1992 focuses more on the wintry exploits of Calvin and his beloved Hobbes. As always, there’s plenty to enjoy and highlights for me included the spoiler of fun building character, homicidal bike, Best friends forever toast (with toast), Dad thinking about taking a day off, G.R.O.S.S., Calvinball, why Dad goes to work, taking pictures, monsters until the bed termpting Hobbes, “think of a number”, impersonations of Dad, best friend in the world, the snowmen, questioning war, Tracer Bullet, Mom wanting Calvin’s suit and Good Calvin (who evaporates). Susie features heavily too, which is always good and there’s a very melancholic panel where she waits for Calvin, thinking he’s coming to the dolls tea party she’s arranged. All of these, though, are topped by the the sublime “why do we dream?” one-pager that brings a lump to the throat (and reminds me so much of Dude and Sheepy). Funny, wistful, moving and poignant, this has it all and I would highly recommend it.
