I need a light to light-up my house number. Can the brackets that come with these lights, able to point straight down?.

Can these lights be set to turn on at dusk and off at dawn and stay on all night, automatically? (I want to use them at an unoccupied house.)

If you mean, do they have a timer, no, they don't. However, they automatically turn on when it gets dark and turn off when it gets light. But be aware--I found that they only stay on for a few hours before the batteries die.

Are they motion sensor too?

How do I turn off the auto function? I have tried "off", pressing "auto" again, pressing "on" then "off, and "auto" then off. No luck.

This light is set to automatic dusk to dawn every night and there is no way to turn it off. When it is turned off one day, it will also resume dusk to dawn the next day. It is recommended that it be set to stay on for 3 hours per night, or that the connector connecting the light to the solar panel be disconnected.
