Good balance for a virtual pet experience.
The Digimon X series hits all the notes of a virtual pet raising experience without demanding as much of the player's time as the original Tamagotchis or Digimon 20th editions. The RPG mechanics and diverse characters keep things interesting while making a good go to virtual pet for when I'm on a busier schedule.
