Great Podium. Easy to assembly. Arrived on time. It's a little taller than we realized, but it works very well.

Nice podium for classroom. Works well for lecture presentations Just be aware of the height of the podium, you will need a higher stool.

Podium I well made and easy to assemble. It is on the heavy side so stability is excellent.We did have to cut the base because of our height of people speaking without having to use a step.

Did it’s job. East assembly.

The unit is 19mm particleboard with vinyl coating (in case you were expecting actual mahogany!). The kit included enough hardware to assemble it -- the Ikea-style twistlock and dowels, so a Phillips screwdriver will do it. It has no bottom and no "feet" so it isn't very sturdy or stable. You'll want to get a mahogany-colored marker to cover all the scratches -- mine had scratches on all outward facing panels. I unpacked it onto a quilted moving blanket from a box packed with styrofoam and foam sheets, so it was done in manufacturing. You will also want to touch up where the edge-banding doesn't completely cover the base material, which is everywhere! That 19mm is just shy of 3/4", so if you want to install feet, casters or a bottom, plan on not penetrating the material more than 1/2". So why 3-stars? Because buying the material, cutting, edge-banding and assembling yourself would cost more and take longer.

I bought this podium so I could use it at home to study/read. Due to having a sedentary job all day, I didn’t want to need to sit more in the evening.The podium was easy to put together, is sturdy enough to lean on when using, and an overall great podium for what I needed. The shelf comes in handy, as well.I wish I’d have thought of getting one of these to use at home sooner.

Purchased this for my teacher-wife. She loves it!

Very cheaply made. The unit I sent was similar, but does not match the item listed/pictured. Cheap particle board construction, with several chipped corners upon arrival where the wood laminate/finish is already flaked off. The middle shelf does not sit stably - it is wobbly and the brackets fall out far too easily with any movement or transport of the unit. No pencil holder as shown.
