The Bite

This book will always hold a dear place in my heart and although I prefer the original this book is still a phenomenal read. My biggest issue is the lack of bond you form with Shirley in comparison to the original. The coffee decision was such a heartwarming scene and I’m truly sad it’s gone. If you ever release the original books how they were I’d happily buy those too.

Things have changed, little things that make the book that much better. I don’t know why they’ve changed and I don’t like the change. The changes are little so it doesn’t ruin the book completely but i am incredibly worried for the future of the book.I don’t know how long this series will be but at this rate, it’ll be like 10 books to just finish the original first book on Wattpad.Im just praying they don’t change anymore. Charlotte choosing her coffee and what she likes in the diner was one of the most heart jerking things and it’s completely gone…. Why…Plus don’t change anything else… and the husband…. Why was that put in?! The book would do better without that.

I have been looking forward to this story for some time now I have been so excited about it I have been hoping that the playlists were still there and the story hadn't changed to much I have to say Shirley's part didn't hit me the same way as it did originally and I understand that you are beefing the books out with more information I hope that the relationships between the people involved are going to continue and not completey change apart from that I enjoyed the new version although I am back to reading the old one I can't wait to see how you bring the next story together please don't just stop writing now

The book was fairly tame until the end which was awesome😍

I loved this book a lot it’s was really good I loved the characters in the book all of them. The girl is running away from her ex and finds her self in a forest where she gets bitten by a werewolf rogue and the pack helps her turn into a werewolf but will she survive??? Overall is a really good book and I do recommend it

Flew through this book. Great take on the werewolf genre. Gonna pick up the sequel. Highly recommended.

The book differs a bit from the Wattpad version, but I very much enjoyed it! I loved that we get to know Charlotte & Levi & the vamps a bit better! And that Lander and Liam are introduced sooner! I read it in one night and am now anxiously awaiting for the next one! I don't usually wish for winter, but I'm definitely counting down for winter of 2024!! It's definitely worth the read!

I gave this book 5 stars even though part of me didn't want to. Look, dont get me wrong. I liked the book well enough and will continue reading the story to see where it goes, but there is a but. If I hadnt read the original story on wattpad and when I say that I have read the original its not like I mean only once or even twice its my comfort read its my go to book when I have a book hangover I reckon I would have enjoyed this more.I was so excited to hear this book was fully being published and have waited so long to be able to own a copy of it to read and reread as much as I do the wattpad version. But then I started to read and noticed the difference pretty much straight away and it was not like it was just a tiny difference the whole story had changed and I dont know if I like the direction it changed into.The fmc has always been my spirit animal the way that she over comes everything in the original and the way that she forms her solid relationships with 2 of the main characters is what brought the first book together but in this version it was gone it was all inner monologues of her fighting with visions of a certain party and then the way that it was dealt with in the end felt empty and to quick.So many characters that never made appearances til later in original are there all ready and so many new things I just dont get, and it's really sad.I love this author she has been one of my faves for so long but the quick wit and the feelings associated with her characters were sadly missing from this version and what could have been a totally amazing story that I'm sure everyone would beg for more straight away ended up really mediocre.The wattpad version was like a good stiff drink, and this one, unfortunately, was like a cheap wine.

Good read, but lacked the rich characters development and storyline that the original had in spades. If this author releases the original versions of this series the world would be blessed with a supernatural saga that would rival the Twilight series! I hope the author gives the world a chance to meet the real Charlotte Thorne because this version lacks the "BITE" of the original.

I went looking for this book because I loved it on Wattpad and read it repeatedly. When I found it here I was excited that I could continue to reread one of my favourites although that feeling quickly left when I realised there were massive differences.I understand making slight changes but not to this degree. The introduction of characters earlier were wasted, I could get on board with the change in story line in regards to Nate but I didn't like just about every other change.Please release the original, it was in my opinion perfect and I know others readers on Amazon and wattpad feel the same.
