My daily sodium necessity is 1500 grams/day. It is to help lower bloats and swellings that am prone to due to health reasons. Therefore, I now able to control what and how much I sprinkle when I cook or eat bland foods. One press and out comes 5 grams of na. Not only that, what I have in the bottle is salt with a taste of rich umami, dry powdered shiitake. Good to enjoy my meals again.

Other than thinking I was receiving 2 units (a salt and a pepper) so far I'm very happy with the salt shaker. It does reduce definitely the amount of salt that I would normally have put on.

The jar is too large for me to hold and squeeze the release button. Not what I expected.

I wanted it for sweetener,but it is not heavy enough to work in this dispenser,and the button to push to dispense does not operate very smoothly

Each pour is equal to a pinch of salt. Make you more aware of how much salt you are using. In the past my salt sakers had tape over all but 3 of the holes.Love this item

Works as advertised, but if you need the .5 gram measurement to be fairly precise, you'll need to measure/weigh it. Attractive and neat way to keep granulated salts & sweeteners handy.
