NORTH COAST ORGANICS Blood Orange Organic Deodorant, 0.02 Pound

I have like many, been on a hunt for natural deodorant that works. This was not it. I loved the scent. It was so hard and brittle it did not smear on and all. I honestly don't feel like it did anything for odor either.

I grew up with sensitive skin, breaking out in reactions all the time. I've tried everything under the sun. I workout A LOT and lived in Hawaii with no AC...and let me tell you.. this was the only deodorant that didn't leave me with an allergic reaction and smelling!!! I've tried the other scents and they all work well!!! they are not going to be super strong.. but if you are a health freak and dont care for chemicals.. then you already know how these products work. you might have to reapply after a few hours but that is so much better than having a reaction.

This was my first adventure into natural deodorants and I chose this one after some research. I was prepared for the transitional stink and even forwarned my husband to let me know, but I have not stunk once! It keeps me stink-free all day, I barely sweat and it has not irritated my skin. It also smells really nice without being overwhelming. I've found it easiest to apply slowly so your skin warms it making it easier to apply. I will say that I still use my normal deodorant on days I do heavy works out because I'm not sure I trust this that much, but just for regular day-to-day wear, it has far exceeded my expectations.

Maybe it’s just me but when I try these organic deodorants, my pits smell worse than if i was wearing no deodorant at all. Out of the package it smells great, applies easy and seems to be “ok” but after an hour or so of moving around it’s just orange scented BO .. I dont usually get a strong BO smell even with out deodorant. Maybe it’s too pore clogging? Not sure but I’m off to try another one. This one isn’t it.

I was fine with it, easy to apply. I know it feels dry applying, but dont over apply just cause it does get oily. 1 'swype' was good for me. The only issue was that I guess I'm just like all those other reviewers that were sensitive to baking soda, so it did make my armpits a little sensitive and raw. Sad I had to stop using it, I really wanted to the see the difference between this deadorant and the one Ive been using. Other than that, I thought it was a good product.Oh and I also made the mistake of ordering it during the summer (1/3 of it was wasted and melted into the packaging lol).

I am so happy I discovered this product. I especially love that it is all natural. I am also happy to be supporting a small business in the United States. The scent is great and I haven’t had any problems with skin rashes as I have from other brands. The price seems fair to me as well.

I have tried tons and tons of natural deodorants. This one smears all over the place and left grease stains on my clothes that I had to use stain remover to get out. The grease stains that I somehow missed did not come out in the wash even though I use regular strength laundry detergent. So a few of my shirts still have grease stains, I assume from the coconut oil in the product. I wouldn't buy this again. I was surprised at the reviews that said it was hard and didn't spread easily because I found the opposite, application was messy and the deodorant sort of melted all around the plastic and made for a messy, icky application. As far as Body odor control, it was average, but not worth it with the other dissatisfactory elements of the product.

Didn't work as either antiperspirant or deodorant.
