Love: The Code of Krishna
KRISHNA the 7th Sense is an enchanting book that ends in a self-reflection of one's life. There are various metaphors built into the narrative. This is shown by the journey of Professor Keshav Mitra with his old students Kavya and Neel primarily. The book has a trinity narrative structure. Yes, three stories are interwoven together towards a heartwarming conclusion. One is a story of Lord Krishna, where Balarama and others interact with the Lord. The second is around experiences and learning from Lord Krishna's life, and the third is around student life. The students are alum of Indus Business School. We watch different characters go through their journey and discover and find themselves. We move across different periods as time-travelers' from past to present. On this travel, we see Kavya and Neel's spiritual growth. The author has a compelling storytelling style and transports his reader to his world in locations like Lucknow, Rishikesh, Mathura and more. The story talks about relationships and desires but has a tinge of drama and even suspense. There is a narrative around the relationship between Neel and Drucker. Drucker is the campus (Indus Business School) dog and shows the value of love. Learning can happen from any living being on our planet, and the reader would love to be Drucker in real life.If I must share something I did not like, it was the sub-titles in the chapters. As it gave a hint of what to expect. I would love to have a version without the titles.A quote from the book made me put down the book and look at my inner mirror, "The universe of our experience has no objects; there are only different elements of the same subject. All our decisions, all our preferences are subjective in the ultimate analysis."When there is shiny object syndrome around the world, this is the story that stands out. Read this book to revisit your own life and contemplate what you will make your life. In times when the world creates products offering dopamine shots in the brain, this is a story to connect and fill our soul. May the light of the Seventh Sense grace our lives.Thank you, sir, for writing this book. The journey does not end; just a new chapter begins. Thank you for inspiring me.

The 7th Sense by Debashis Chatterjee is a great work, which is unique in its craft!
Just completed reading Krishna, The 7th Sense by Debashis (Deb Ashis) Chatterjee, a prominent academician, writer, and the Director of IIM, Kozhikode (Kerala) in India. The theme of the novel is constructed on a sublime fusion of two life times of a group of business school students - their student day events and a get-together at Rishikesh Ashram after they became real business people - with the stories of Lord Krishna. The novel provides very beautiful, and at times poetic, narration of highly intriguing acts of core-to-life feelings like affection, desire, ecstasy, absence, devotion, parting and freedom in different realms of life-experience like student life, grown up life, teaching, and in the epic story of Lord Krishna - that is, act of those feelings in countless generations of mankind - through nested stories and events. The author being a highly passionate and renowned teacher with overwhelming experience, we also get insightful observations throughout the novel.Krishna, The 7th Sense by Debashis Chatterjee is a great work, which is unique in its craft!

Highly Recommended, The Prophet meets The Alchemist
Krishna: The 7th Sense: This book explores the seven different facets of love, each of which can be compared to different shades of Affection, Desire, Ecstasy, Devotion, and Freedom. The title alone compels you to read the masterpiece. This is a lovely story of affection and suffering, acceptance and devotion, faith and fulfillment. Before reading it, it seems like it might be something mysterious, but after going through it, reveals itself to be nothing more than a magical word that will cause a shift in one's way of thinking.A flawless work of spiritual fiction that, in an engaging manner, breaks down the fundamentals of Krishna Consciousness. The story's protagonists are Keshav and his students, Neel, Kaya, Prasad, Sardar, Swamy, Eva, and Anju.Curiosity-driven anticipation to uncover the undiscovered sense, i.e. 7th Sense

Fantastic, Outstanding Novel: Must read this Book.
Krishna: The 7th Sense, The concept of this book is quite unique and I loved how the author (Prof. Debashis Chatterjee) balances 3 plotlines that run concurrently and converge in the end....Prof. Debashis Chatterjee offers an allegorical view into the lives of a teacher (Keshav) and his old students (Neel, Kaya and others), and conjures up some unforgettable lessons in love. This is a magnificent saga of passion and pain, acceptance and affection, faith and fulfilment-A story that is at once ancient and contemporary. This enchanting debut novel is best described as ‘The Prophet meets The Alchemist’.
