Used these for my vintage Pioneer SX-1250 receiver. They are of good quality.

Solid quality and a must have for your hi fidelity speaker connection.

I imagined this type of adapter in my head and went shopping and of course Amazon had the exact product to solve the problem. The construction is high quality, and the price is very reasonable for 4 adapters. Only caveat is double check that your spring or screw type speaker terminals on the back of your electronics have large enough pass-through holes on the post to accept this thicker 14-gauge bare wire end. My power amp was a recent vintage design and had probably at least12-gauge holes so it was a perfect fit, but very old-style amps and receivers (1960s and 70s) may be too small. Female end is a standard 4mm banana and the main part of the adapter is very flexible to fit into tight spaces in the back of an audio rack. Highly recommended.

Do exactly as I need them to. I have multiple sets of speakers and not all of them have banana plugs. This allows me to quickly use the same amplifier output banana connectors with all of my speakers.

Poorly constructed. Wire pulled out of the cable while it was attached to the speaker.Update: seller contacted me and refunded my purchase price. Raised rating from one star to 4, assuming my experience was an anomaly.

I was hoping these would fit some smaller fittings. But they're very high quality so like those little chincy spring loaded speaker cable plugs might not work unless they'll take at least 16 gauge.

A little pricey but well made.

My current speaker cables terminate in banana plugs. I'm using a vintage (70's) Yamaha receiver that has spring loaded speaker connections - so I needed a solution. This adapter going from female banana plugs to a male braided metal connection seemed like exactly what I needed.BUT...The end of the metal braid was soldered to prevent fraying. The soldered end was, however, oblong and was too large to fit into the spring clip. I ended up snipping off the solder joint and twisting the braid together. At that point it was just about the maximum size able to fit into the spring clip.Problem solved and I am using the adapter without issue.
