What type of connections do you need to connect this to a standard garden hose?

The sprinkler is designed to be used with a 1 1/4" hose. To function properly, the sprinkler requires a flow rate of 23-63 GPM and 22-70 PSI water pressure. A 3/4" connection effects these conditions and is not recommended to be used with the sprinkler.

Do you hook it up to regular 3/4” hose or 2” irrigation hose?

This will not hook up to either. It is 1 1/4” male. And I am having a heck of a time finding an adapter for my 2” hose.

How to adjust height of spray

The spray is adjustible and has different tips for the sprinkler . The height is not adjustible. The sprayer gun shoots a very long ways. Its a great sprinkler for my horse arena.
